to get to your point though, yes, WildStar's PVP does have issues. There's the problem around having some of the best weapons in the game, which is why raiders are trying to push their ratings up. There's the problem about rating tanking to reduce queue times and the impact it has on mid arenas. And yeah, there was a big issue around bots (although they've dropped dramatically).

Thing is, PVP lead Kevin Lee has said repeatedly on the livestreams that they're looking at fixes for this, and we'll probably see the first iteration in the patch later this month. It's going to be a constant battle though, and I wouldn't be surprised if it needs regular iteration for a few months to get to a solid state.

So it's not a case of ignoring it, it's about it being appropriate. But don't be surprised if we take a closer look at the general state of PVP in general once the PVP patch goes live.

Too bad you did not actually review pvp at launch. It was all us pvp fans who had to make a huge stink about the pvp issues. For entire week straight on the forums for carbine to actually say something. Whenever they do hype streams they do not directly respond to customers questions either. Mmorpg.com should have a writer dedicated to pvp in mmos. It would radically open a lot of mmo fans eyes to many issues that are glossed over by purely pve fans.

Everyone complains about slow mounts and here I am, remembering having to beg for movement speed buffs back in EQ Kunark and requiring a class with movement speed buffs to be grouped with me or using only taxi horses with fixed routes between towns in DAoC if I wanted to get around quickly, and just being happy I have a mount I can summon on my own. Whipper snappers (I'm 27 btw) are just so entitled and demanding of instant-gratification these days. Just be happy you aren't playing back in the MMO Dark Ages. /c

This game has everything over Archage if you're more into combat than economy, SMITE doesn't even have a telegraph system so idk wtf that is about, and it sure as hell isn't easy.  You never earned 1800 pvp rating in anything or raid attuned I am willing to bet.

SMITE has a telegraph system, it is nothing new. Wildstar could have called it "noob guided AOE targeting" but instead went with "telegraphs". By combat you mean "PVE raids" right? For everything else go with Archeage. Also, it is not hard but tedious, that's not the same thing.

What are you trying to claim is a "Telegraph" system in SMITE? I have been playing SMITE since the god pack that got you CBT Access was available mid 2012, the attacks don't have giant red markers that indicate when an ability is coming for you.  A majority of the abilities happen to quick for that to even be possible or useful in the first place, by combat I mean exactly what the word means and it's not limited to raids.  The fact that you're saying playing a game is tedious leads me to believe it actually is hard for you.

I like the game, but it is dying as we speak due to Carbine's "hardcore" attitude.

Along many other aspects of Wildstar, PvP is a complete mess as well. It's being avoided by many players, so before they fix the basics "The Bomb" won't help the game.

Honestly I loved the game. Leveling was a bit too repetitive/slow in the 40s. But overall I had to stop playing because of the horrible fps my amd powered computer was getting. Just made it hard to PvP when the telegraph weren't accurate.
