I have two version of microsoft...

How do I delete one? the one im on has all sorts of problems (firewall wont turn on, multiple bugs, overfilled drives etc.) anyone care to help? I have two choices when i start up my computer, the clean version and this version. anyone know a easy way to just click delete and get rid of this one? thanks.

    I've tried this once so correct if im wrong.

    right click your main disk. There should be a "format" option. Click it. If I remember right, you can delete one of the two versions from there.

    Be carefull though. You dont want to delete your C:

    I installed 2 versions of XP on different patitions delete one of the partitions through the bios then creat the partition again then reinstall windows on the C:  partition then everything will be sorted...

    Im sorry but i dont understand the guy who posted above me, can you go into more detail about how i access this partition? I can get into bios but no where did i see delete partition.

    on a side note, that version doesnt have internet enabled. im on a router with my other computer... how do i turn on internet on the other version of microsoft? thx for the help.

    ps, i tried to just doing set up home network AND set up internet connection under the control panel but it didnt work.

    You use Windows? I'm sorry.

    Seriously though, to access a partition you need to get a partition manager like Partition magic or Paragon Partitioner (My personal Favorite). That way, you can delete the partition your bad version of Windows is on. Make sure you are careful though, messing around with your partitions--even with a very well made partitioning program--can be dangerous.

    As for your internet issue, I don't think I can be much help to you there. I would suggest calling the tech. support of your ISP. Sorry I can't be of more help.

    Jackman, the quote field will not show an image.  Please remove the bbml from your quote as it is causing havoc with the layout.
