    Me too :)

I have that same problem! I want a plot to my farm! I think we have to wait til archeage goes live!

The visuals are the only thing that just annoys me bad.

What is it with Korean developers getting super-powerful engines to play with and then creating underwhelming visuals? It doesn't help that their characters are often bland and uninspired looking as well.

Give me something like this with the lore and visuals of say WoW(post-WoD) and you'd never see me again.

Well think that one of my intent on playing this game.. I dont have enough time to raid, dungeon neither pvp, but sometime I like to go online and take care of my crops, trade a little and have some fun! This is a nice game but if live server will take a long time to come they should create new servers for beta players!

Most MMORPG's I will enter the game and immediately begin the grind race up to the highest level. Crafting is usually so tedious I'll get half way through the levels, then forgo the entire process and slide right back into the EXP grind.

In the first beta event of Archeage, I found myself running around town getting into farming and starting to figure out how to get my first trade route going. It was very distracting from the exp grind and I was actually enjoying another aspect to MMO's. I never got far enough to see the sea or even get a trade route going. I can't wait to see the rest of what this game has to offer. Not to mention I don't have to make 10 different characters and level them all up for 1 to see new abilities. I love this game!!!! To top it off, BETA 3 INVITE!!!

    That's a pretty big complement.

I disagree though, I don't think AA's combat is done that well.

Isn't there still a limit on the skills you can choose?

ArcheAges class structure is similar to Rift.  There are 10 different lines and you choose three of them.  You can swap them up (but you still have to level each line)

Its one of the trends that is ruining MMORPGs where no one really specializes anymore, everyone does everything.

As far as 1.7 - yeah it will come the speculation is, when? My guess 3 months post launch.

I doubt that we'll see any more updates before 2.0 from XL - so I think 1.8 and 1.9 will get rolled up into 2.0

2.0 is what I am looking forward to the most - Warborn, Fairy, The Returned and Dwarves are all slated for 2.0 - should be a massive update.

This is exactly the kind of comment I was looking for.

Btw Kano, how do you like your namesake's appearance in MK X?

Also the tractor is an upgrade that gives you a bench on the pack where someone can sit (i.e. and not get knocked off) and it increases the speed. No extra pack space afaik.

The tractor in the video appears to have two more boxes on top of the normal four, I think?

Yeah, I read the article hoping to see something about a drastic combat revamp that would make it fun. As it is, I might give it a spin at launch but don't anticipate staying for very long. My time in beta just hasn't showed me any reasons to get interested or excited.  I envy those of you that do though!

    Skateboarding in Archeage??

    Are they serious??? o.O

For me it´s a major turn off....i mean... wtf....

Don't forget the new Ghost Ships that roam the oceans ! There are 2 of them, one for a smaller raid and the other one takes a huge raid to bring down. IF you take one down the big one you get 3000 gilda coins and some nice loot.

Um for some it would be appealing I mean come on they have cars in game and eveyrthing is very steampunk in a way.... anyways when it comes to some gear, gliders, even things on ships and house decorations etc..if ya dont like it then do not make one.

Game will do well there will always be folks that do not like it but they still like to bash a game they dont enjoy or not  even played.   Human nature always takes over on these topics.

Don't like the game then do not play it and move on, but if you can offer actual constructive feedback then more the merrier ...Trion actually does listen you just have to listen as well:P

having skateboards in this game does not fit in any way shape or form.  Hopefully Trion vetos the skateboards.

Sorry, the tractor upgrade that is currently in game adds two more boxes (6 total) so this new upgrade (to "tier 3") doesn't add anymore slots over what is currently in game. (afaik)

    whats wrong with 2004 combat?

Dated.  Tab targeting is lazy, removes a lot of skill from combat.  No innovation.  Press tab and tap  1 - 9  like nearly every other  "mmo"  made in the last 10 years.  A feeling of  "been there, done that."  creeps up on you.

understandable that some people love it , some hate it.  But c'mon people.. the same combat style for 10 years or more..  stagnates the evolution of gaming.

This kind of combat work best for Greifing, which seems is the only thing PVP'rs know how to do, cuz most usually lose in a fair fight. AS far as the rest of the game goes, as long as the LP system continues to give paying players an unfair advantage over free players, I dont see a whole lot of F2P players reaching the high levels and high-end crafted gear, they will go play other better games.

IMHO, the graphics so far are a big fail, EQ1 has better graphics than this game. (so far)

lol butthurt kid here probably gets rekt every time he tries to pvp in an mmo. tab target or not you just got farmed.

I wasnt looking for a fantasy game in the first place..if I wanted that I would be playing WoW......CARS,GLIDERS,SKATEBOARDS BRING EM' ALL! (also skateboards can only be used downhill it seems, so that is really cool).

Skateboards in a fantasy MMO? Asian devs are just weird. I hope Trion keeps it out of the NA version.

Please spare us the lecture. We like the game as is, we don't want skateboards ruining the immersion of the setting, what more do you want? As if  your "deal with it or don't play" approach is constructive. People are entitled to their opinions, maybe you should deal with that. "Don't like it don't make one" is equally unconstructive since you cannot control what other people are zooming around you on. They do not fit in with the game and will stick out like a sore thumb. I could want a rocket ship in the game, it doesn't mean it should happen. You come off as elitist....the whole starting your post with "Um" doesn't help.

The sloth glider is weirder, and I'm not sure Trion will keep it out. Probably just put it in the cash shop like it is in Korea. Everything's for sale in Korea.
