Any chance of a link to the second episode? I've seen nor heard anything about it, well except for that Series Teaser Trailer you've linked here. But that's not a episode, at only 1 minute long.

Too bad the Cinematics are better than the game nowadays.

The game is no good. The only thing that would have saved this game would be a new class and they didn't bring one in , so guess what? We are now seeing this game on its lasts legs.  R.I.P. WOW it has been a long time coming...

It has always been a favorite go to game for me and millions of others. I like what they are trying to do aesthetically, but it's the mechanics that have really ruined it for me. If they would go back to WoTLK or even TBS and use the systems from those it might save the game, but I fear the lethargic systems in place now have driven a lot of players away.

Of course I will be buying it to check it out! Hopefully it keeps me past the first subscription.

Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.

Every couple of years they add a bunch of fluff and very little in the way of depth and character development.  Raids galore does not make an mmorpg.  All they've been doing for years is pooping on their own zones by forcing folks to race once more to a new zone end game while the old zones become ghost towns of solo grinders.

If Blizzard really cared about the fans, they would also offer a Vanilla and or a Burning Crusade server.  Old school WoW would be great - and I know a lot of folks miss the days when Kungfu Panda didn't invade the game lore.

    Sigh.

Vanilla was a grind , tbc even more so. The game progressively picked more casual players and lost most of the hardcore elitists. A plus IMO , if you have more than 4 hours a day for video games you are doing life wrong. Wows major downfall is it's push of removing community. Life and cross realm ques are killing this game, no interaction whatsoever .

How many times are we going to say R.I.P to WOW? been 10 years already,  give it up maybe.

People that say the game is dead make me laugh....It still has by far the most subscribers out of all MMOs...any developer would kill to have the number of players WoW does.

It has become a kind of running joke....

I wonder if people who say stuff like 'RIP WOW'  even realize how silly they look.

Looking forward to it, even decided to sub again to get my characters in order for the xpac. Garrisons look cool, and the graphics updates look very nice. People may like to slag it off to justify their decision to leave it, but that is generally their own insecurities and their desperate need to justify decisions. Me, I have played the game on and off for years, still like it, and still am happy to try other games without resorting to the type of crud I see other people coming out with.
  • These wow fan boys and the haters themselves all make me laugh so hard and grin ear to ear. :)

We all know that the creation of a class would only fend off the crunch for new content before more subs go down the drain.

And I hope very strongly that WoW closes shop before it becomes B2P or F2P. DO NOT give in to the undesirables.

Did anyone relize how the lore looks to be different in the future?  Hellscream didn't drink it. So now will the future be rewritten?

Lmao, the new life cycle for an MMO is Subscription -> F2P -> Dead. I'm really sorry, but even if WoW somehow lost 80% of their subscribers, they'd still have more subscribers than any other MMO. Should they lose 95% of their subscribers, they simply cast Lay On Hands, go F2P with a well thought-out model and all of a sudden they have higher user numbers than ever, in the history of the game.

I'm really sorry, but even in it's 10 year-old format, WoW still has more polish than the majority of current MMO games. The combat is crisp and responsive, there is a great difficulty ramp, PvP is well-balanced. I'm haven't been AS big a fan since they dropped talent trees, but it's just undeniable that there is any other game on the market that matches this, as far as the overall quality of product goes. When this actually goes full F2P with micro-transaction model, it will literally close games, and possibly companies, and I don't think that's an over-statement.

I know only *one* mmo that was sub only first - then ftp - then died   (Vanguard)

plenty of sub mmos have died

plenty of ftp mmos have died

    but not the combination

Don't try to introduce logic on these forums, it rarly goes over well.

According to the avg MMORPG.com poster:

WoW with 6.8 million subs after 10 years, and an xpac around the corner, = a dead game.

SWTOR with over a million players a month, and the 2nd biggest MMO in the west = the biggest MMO disaster in the history of the genre.

I sometimes wonder if the rest of the MMO industry would be wound down and shuttered before WoW even goes F2P, but you might not be wrong about what would happen if they did go F2P, certainly things would not look good for the ones who rely on that model so extensively image

However, the regular, and somewhat amusing announcements of WoW's imminent demise only seem to highlight the inadequacies of whichever game is purported to be its replacement, and as a PR stunt is probably the equivalent of playing Russian roulette, with far too many chambers loaded image

True enough, but I suppose that well-balanced PvP is kind of a contradictory term. I actually can't think of any that actually achieve balance, especially those which are gear-based. At least WoW is relatively responsive. If you can name me a single MMO that offers balanced gear-based PvP I'm all ears.
