So I have been in the Archeage beta for a few days now and I honestly have to say that AA is the best MMO I have played in years. I know this is very subjective but I am not a huge beta guy, I don't see any point in playing a bunch only to have your characters wiped, so I usually play beta for a few hours to get a feel then stop. The problem is there is nothing else worth playing at the moment except AA. I logged onto Rift, played for a few levels, logged out. Next I logged into ESO, played for about an hour and then logged out. I am in the process of reinstalling GW2 but I don't have much faith.
So long story short, I am playing AA even though I know my chars will be deleted. It's a really fun game.

Play the game for atleast 6 months and if you feel the same as you did day 1 then yes you can say It's the best MMO you have played in years.
We always get that little tingle when we play a new MMO, you feel damn this is great a awesome game, best MMO in years, you start to write in forums how good it is how great it best game ever so and and so forth, It's the honeymoon syndrome.
I had that syndrome plenty of times, but got cured few weeks/months down the road.
If it's not broken, you are not innovating.
