Does anyone else find the League of Angels ad space that pops up on the home page of MMORPG.com to be really embarrassing? I feel like we need to move away from that stuff if gaming is ever going to be taken more seriously. It is like fan service anime, the mocked underbelly of anime.

I agree that those ads are an insult to the users of this site.
I don't know how much it costs to have that ad placement but the game must be making money to keep that garbage on this site. It only stereotypes gamers as 15 year old kids who live in their mother's basement with raging hormones and no social skills.
