The only thing I know is that there is a video on fileplanet about some aspects of character creation.

Probably need to go to the official Highland or Panzer-Davis forums, but seems you've already been there.

Don't know, but it would be the ultimate PvP game.

I've had that video forever and yea thats why I suddenly thought of it. I'm not really that into pvp but if the company did it right yes it would be but think of all the pve content you can get from such a title. This was what I think would make a reasonable Highlander MMORPG.

1  - Instead of picking classes and such they should make you pick a weapon style with traits in them but specal skills for that set. ( In other words say ya use an axe you'd have a disarm trait and when ya used a disarming strike or skill it would compare stats and determine how if you'd be reasonably able to disarm ya opponent.)

2 - Allow them to get all type of real life jobs and give pve content to those who don't enjoy pvp for instance ... a npc comes in ya shop suddenly chooses to challenge you wether you accept or decline he tries to make ya life miserable by different story plots.

3 - Reasonable modern character appearances available as well as more refined classic looks.

4 - Real Time combat I believe stats should play a part in it but I think you should also play a more active part then in most mmorpgs I believe it would be nice if it took into account how fast you responded to a attack (For instance by pressing a direction button etc) then put that together with the stats to determine if ya parryed or dodged a strike.

Its hard to explain but yea I thought they could do alot with such a great franchise its sad that so far it hasn't seen the light of day

Only problems I could see is it wouldn't be as open as other games as far as community since the immortals live a kill or be killed mentality to eachother for the most part. I couldn't really see why anyone would team up with people who could potentially storyline wise want to kill them later but I think if they created a almost single player storylines for pve players and the pvp would be easier to do. Besides the swordsmanship thing I'm not really sure besides attributes ya could put in there but I'm sure they can think of something. This game was supposed to come out awhile ago so its probably cancelled just never seen a site that says its offically cancelled or that the company went under. I realize that most of this is hard to program but I think the final product would make alot of money.
