The Drunken Sailors

The Premier Pirate Guild of Archeage

Mission

The Drunken Sailors will strive to be one of the top guilds presence in Archeage NA. We will focus heavily on Naval PVP and Territory Control with a focus of taking what we want either by force or extortion. We will also have dedicated crafters/gathers and traders to produce the finest cities, homes, ships and goods available to us, and to make sure we have enough funding to keep up with daily operations.

Structure

The Drunken Sailors implements a "Tribe" system. Each facet of the guilds operations will have a tribe, and a dedicated core of leadership for that tribe. (i.e. All players wishing to focus on pvp will be separated by type of pvp, whether it be Naval, Stealth, or ground based just as examples.) Each tribe will have its own chain of command, from tribe leader, to second in command, and so on and so forth. Drunken Sailors starts out with 5 different tribes.

All members in game are citizens of Drunken Sailors and part of the global Assembly where much of the larger community direction is determined. Leadership roles within each of individual tribe are determined by a given players ability to gain and maintain popularity as a leader. Community founders, compete for all positions in the clan as an equal with the other members. Every two months elections are held in each tribe, and the members of that tribe elect the tribes leaders. Each tribe leader then becomes a member of the Senate. Along with electing leaders of the tribes, every two months the entire guild votes as one for a "Tribune of The Assembly". This is a normal member that is not a senator, that gets a seat in the Senate and a vote in every decision the Senate makes. The Tribune cannot serve more than two terms in a row.

The Senate

Officers with the rank of Senator control the structure and diplomacy of each individual tribe. Each Senator represents a Tribe or family within the guild and must maintain a minimum number of followers in order to maintain his or her leadership position. Members who have ranked up through their Tribe to the highest non-Senate position may petition to form a new Tribe. As a democracy, each Senator has a vote in the direction of the clan and in approving or denying the petition of a new tribe. The Tribune is also given veto power over any decision he/she thinks is bad for the overall general community.

. Patrician - Tribe Officers, Appointed by the Tribe Senator

. Plebian - Full Member of Guild and A Tribe

.Tribune Of The Assembly - Elected Member with a seat at the Senate. Full voting member of the Senate.
