I have looked on wiki's an read about it on the forums but I have some questions I can't seem to find.

When you choose your 3 skills are they set or can you change them anytime to something else?

As far as trade skills, can you use whichever ones you want or are you limited to one or two selections? I know about LP being a restricter.

Basically I'm trying to find a game that gives me the old school feeling of UO where its not just constant fighting but crafting as well. Where "end game" isn't updated for you every patch and you create your own on what you want. I have no issue paying for a game with a sub fee if I REALLY enjoy it.

Yes you can change all of your skills at an npc that is located in any map multiple times.

Things you should know:each skill tree has its own level>you are level 40 but you auramncy is level 32...

When you change a skill tree to a new skill tree you start from level 10 again.

If you go back to a skill tree you already leveld you continue from where you left (aka auramncy 32)

You cant have all trade skills at once, but you can pay for a reset and pick a new one>but losing the progression you already made. (i am not sure about this one)

Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

You can change it anytime but skills lvl up too, better take ur final decision around lvl 10-15.

In 2 days start OB, try it as a f2p player, then its more easy to decide if you want to coninue playing and pay the monthly fee.

I had no trouble leveling all skills to 50 in Alpha. Most of it was done while I was farming/gathering actually, as you can gain a ton of XP, and you can change these as many times as you want for a small fee.

As far as tradeskills go - there is an item called a specialization snowflake that I believe allows you to add on more professions, so there is an ability to expand beyond your initial choices. While i'm not entirely sure on the max before needing the snowflake item, here's a screenshot of my skill trees to give you a better idea of what it can look like.

There are 2 ways to change your skill

the first one is if you open up your skillset and check at the bottom you can change your whole build on the fly.

the second is at a skill trainer where you can change your class.

You can max out 2 professions and level all others to their respectable limit just not master them to the level of your 2 main professions you pick to specialise.
