As you can see EQN will have beautiful realistic designed buildings that unpaid players are going to create but with ugly cartoon characters.

Where did they show off the Kerran designs? I just skimmed through the video as I don't have the time to watch a full hour of it.

What? You don't like playing a game with stylized art or like some like to say, cartoony or Disney character models? Why not? The stylized art concept holds up so much better than realistic characters do. It worked so well for the greatest game ever created and the first true MMO. OF course I'm talking about WoW. Everything else is just a clone of WoW to include EQ. Those realistic characters look like they were made in 1999 for crying out loud.
I'm sure you've seen and probably like some recent Disney movies that EQN resembles. Kerrans look like something straight out of the Lion King. I can't wait to see if we can have a Kerran with Mathew Broderick's voice! And the female humans look like something straight out of Frozen and the facial expressions are oh so awesome! I can't wait to see all the ladies running around singing "Let it go!", man it's going to be a game for the ages!

Anyway, good job by the players how made those, very impressive.

They have only revealed 3 races I believe. Human, Kerran and Dark Elf (I might be wrong on that but it is late and my brain needs sleep).
they did mention Ixar in the show though, not sure if that is new info but first time I have heard them mentioned in any connection to EQN. No new models though. But in previous shows they showed off lots of different artist sketches for different types of each race. Saw about 10 different types of Kerran ranging from the original to panther like looks.
People who bitch and moan about the Kerran we have seen really have no idea how character customisation works in games or are being purposefully obtuse.
Just to clarify this...
A SINGLE Kerran model shown in the original demo video shown a year ago displaying heroic movement and not displaying how character creation variables will allow for all sorts of different looks for your Kerran, just happened to depict what a Lion looks like which makes everyone instantly recognise what type of race the Kerrans are.
Curious what you consider "realistic" vs "cartoony". The buildings look like they could fit in pretty much any Disney movie with humans. Don't get the feeling that I'm looking at an online version of my house or looking out the window. As far as "ugly" cartoon characters. Could you point me in the direction of non-ugly cartoon characters? I'm assuming you simply dislike the style and therefore it is ugly to you, but in comparison to similar games (EQ, WoW, Wildstar, etc) it looks pretty nice to me. If "realistic" aka Eastern games (not really any "realistic" Western games worth much) is your preference, there are plenty to choose from that all share the same look (Bless, Black Desert, ArcheAge, GW2, FF, etc). If you are looking for COD "realistic" in an mmorpg, good luck I guess.
