I've been following this game for quite sometime. I'm going tell you the reason why I am interested in this more so than almost any other game coming out, though I hope I don't get accused of playing the "sympathy card". What caught my interest in this game was their promise to be able to play it across platforms all with the same account. The fact that I could play it on my pc, then go plop on my couch and pull up my ipad and have a go without missing a beat. My reason for this being so important is that recently I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. My coordination has gone down with subsequent attacks, enough that playing things with a mouse and keyboard, or even controller, is frustrating at best and impossible at worst. Shaking arms are starting to tear my hobby away from me along with a great many other things. Yet I am able to play a lot of tablet games and because of the Albion Online looks to be my dream game. It might allow me to continue doing what I love to do, continue providing my escape when I need it the most, and allowing me to play it the way I am capable of whenever I need. Not to mention it also happens to be the throwback UO style sandbox, and the devs have put a lot of heart and soul into this game. Its not "WoW' clone thats for sure.
So whether I am blessed enough to win here or not, this will be my future game because it might be one of my only options going forward. However with what I have seen from this game, it doesn't look like I'll have to just "settle" for what I am capable of playing, it looks like I'll be able to play a true gem.
The tears in my eyes when i see this game! it reminds me of all the good times i had in Ultima Online. and i hope this game can give me some of that joy that i have not got in a game ever since.....
" Don't listen to anyone who tells you that you can't play this or that. That's nonsense. Make up your mind, and you'll never whine or repent about gaming hours anymore, then have a go at every Game. Open up the Internet, join in all the Mmorpgs you can. Go make the Guild. But never, never let them persuade you that things are too difficult or impossible. "
I my opinion Albion online could be one of the best sandbox games. In AO you have to care about your security, every your step could be the last one you made. If you wanna survive in the AO world you must create an alliance with few players. In AO you have to be predator and rest of the players should be for you just an animals.
The players driven economy, crafting,g vs g battles makes albion more intresting and unique game. I can't image how battles 40 vs 40 players will looks like ! I will be PVP player, with my guild motto "If it's red, it's dead". FOR THE WIN!
Lots of mechanics they have presented within the game is way similar to EVE Online, plus it's gonna be free to play with ability to buy premium like PLEX in EVE. So yeah, count me in :DDD
I played Ultima Online almost 4 years and I still sometimes reinstalling it just for sandbox feeling and game view.It was my first mmorpg, I tried DAOC - Everquest II - Eve Online - Guildwars - Warhammer Online and many others but it doesnt feel the same.So I really wonder how does feel that play Albion Online maybe you will help me to find out.
Seems like a great game. I'm intrigued by the small PvP battles for areas (IE: 5v5). What a great work-around for the lag that massive 60v48 battles cause in other games; not to mention massive guilds simply steamrolling smaller ones. As well, this may very well have the side affect of creating "PVP superstars". I'm looking forward to seeing this game in action!
and because it'd be fun to finally see an MMO from polish devs do well.

Seriously Farmville? Yeah I think it's great. In a World where half our population is dying of hunger the more fortunate half is spending their time harvesting food that doesn't exist.

Firstly Albion Online reminds me of an old Polish MMORPG via www "Arena Albionu". I spent a lot of time with this game.
Secondly I love sandbox and PvP. All the world look awesome and characters are sooo nice created!
Thank you for making a sandbox game that is a true sandbox. Appreciate your time!
It's Deep Offering ...
Cheers
