Good PvP game... does one exist?

I have played WoW at lvl 60, PvP was really fun at first, it got repetitive fast. You need to have epic items to really compete.
I then tired DAoC, could not stand the level grind. I bet the PvP is pretty good, but I do not want to spend a month of my time to experience it.
I tried Shadowbane, and the population was really small. Besides the graphics being horrible, the leveling system was really bad, the guild dependancy was to great, and I just didnt like the game, the PvP was not what it is hyped up to be by the players.
Tried guild wars, it is pretty fun, but not really what im looking for. GW is all team based PvP, and its always the same. Its always the same number of players PvPing in the same instances. All the armor looks the same, not enough weapons or armor models.
I tried Knight Online.. and well I dont care much for it. No wonder it is free.
I have tried CoV, and the PvE sucks, aswell as the PvP. Really boring and repetitive
I almost tried Lineage 2, but seeing as how I HATE level grinding that takes forever, not even going to touch it.
So, my question is, is there a good PvP game out there? A lot seem to be coming soon, RF Online , Age of Conan, Dark and Light, Warhammer, ect. But none are out now.
I do not care if it is an MMO or not, as long as it has a decent population and has a lot of PvP. One thing I hate about games today, is that you must spend hours upon hours, over the period of one or two months, just to be able to experience PvP. Is there a good PvP game out there that does not require a big investment of time? (besides Guild Wars) Is there a game out there like this? Like I said before, it does not have to be a MMO. And dont tell me to go play BF2 or Counter Strike or a FPS, I am not looking for that kind of PvP. If there is one that I dont know about that is CURRENTLY available (I dont want to hear about a game that will be released in a few months) please let me know. I do not care if it has a monthly fee or anything.

EQ2 and SWG both have big level grinds. I am looking for A PvP GAME. I do not consider EQ2 and SWG PvP games. In those game you level up and do PvE for months and then get to do some PvP. I am not looking for that kind of game.
I do not know much about Eve, but I get the impression that the PvP is between spaceships, and that is not what I want to play. I like fighting with swords and magic ect.

EVE has the best PVP system i've played, the game isn't for everyone tho.
WOW has great PVP play but gets boring.

Ok, is Eve not PvP between Space Ships? I do not want to try that.
And PlanetSide, I guess I could try that, but how does A MMOFPS work? Do you level up? Do you obtain new weapons? Eh, I don't see how that would work. And also, does that game even have anyone still playing it? I remember hearing about a low population, and that was a year ago, I bet no one is playing that anymore.
Anyone else have suggestions...? It doesnt have to be brand new.
Try planetside, you say you don't have the patience to wait a month to compete in good pvp, then Eve is probably not your game. Eve does however offer superior pvp as far as MMO's go imo. It's no twitch based tho, but tactically challenging rather.
Does anyone still play PlantSide? It seems like if I wanted to play a FPS I would go on XBL and play BF2 or Halo 2. What makes PlanetSide better?
Is there any other games? I really am looking for an RPG style game. One of the best PvP experiences I can remember was playing Neverwinter Nights, so I am not only looking for a MMO.
Not sure when the last time you played DAoC, but the level grind has been substantially reduced. Tasks from guards and grouping with high level friends gives you TONS of exp. now.
Check it out again, but do get the Epic edition. It's the best PVP around and a LOT faster to level now.

Counterstrike, HL2 Deathmatch is pretty good, any the competetive FPS games.

Unfortuanetly I do not have high level friends in DAoC. So even though the grind has reduced, its still there, just not as bad as before. So since I do not know anyone who is a high lvl to powerlevel me, looks like I am out of luck.
And to takkun and GRIMACHU.. you guys are not very funny. Read my post.

Counter-Strike (Source or 1.6 take your pick), Battlefield 2, Madden 2007, Age of Empires 3, Soul Calibur 3, Joint Operations, Socom 3, Mortal Kombat: Deception, and Red Alert 2.

P.S. I almost forgot StarCraft and WarCraft 3 ;-)
ferentus has the best pvp since RYL imo.
Personally I would say quake 2 death match or Q2CTF.
Hardly MMORPG's but then again I think PvP should have a secondary importance in such games, if any at all.

And the guy said he doesn't want a level grind. Level grind is all RF is. Ooh, aside from ganking lowbies.
Try Irth Online, it uses a skill based system, ala UO.
Or Rubies of Eventide, it has levels, but it's not grinding, some people don't like the combat, but I love it.

All those who told me to play FPS games, well please read my whole post, I said thats not what im looking for.
Still open for suggestions if there is anymore.
in the end of the month EQ2 will ad PVP to the game.
they adding new servers with PVP ruleset, and no transfer so everyone start from scrath.
also, u gain EXP for killing other players, so, we will know if its goo or bad only after it will realsed.
also u should stat Planetside, just press Esc and than I and u are in the action, and there are enughf players.
