What class did you pick and why?

I'm just curious as to what people pick and why. I enjoy ranged combat and in LOTRO I Loved Archer so I went with the same thing in closed Beta. I didn't find the combat all that thrilling or captivating even though it was still early and I had not unlocked many skills.

That being said with Open Beta I decided to try out a Sorcerer and so far I enjoy seeing my fireballs smacking Nymphs in the face.

    I went with "Shadowplay" because it read as a cross between melee/ranged with stealth. I figured it would be a good sampling of combat types. I've only gotten a bit past 10 and not really seen stealth elements, but it does seem to be a decent mix of melee/ranged.
