I agree with him about lowering the hype way down - the scope of the game is not massive at all.
Its a 6 person co-op "halo" with a bit of borderlands in it.
Yea but its halo and borderlands with a persistent online world where you can roam freely in a open world and run into other random players while you travel, that is what people like about it on top of the smooth gameplay and sleek graphics, halo was just a linear single player game. Also public events does allow multiple fire teams. Plus you can make your own characters.

Yes, he's a bit of a clown, but as someone who does watch his videos, I would say my reasons are as such:
He's an honest source. One can count on his opinion to be exactly that - his opinion, not bought out by developers or publishers. That makes him a better source of reviews than most outlets.
He's entertaining, though that is certainly subjective.
His opinions tend to line up with mine pretty well. Not to say that I follow his opinion, because I generally explore games myself first.
I see no reason for myself to not listen to his reviews. I'd take him seriously before putting weight into Gamespot, IGN, or any of those other cronies.

Yeah tell that to his 1.5 million followers
All that means is there are 1.5 million people that can't think for themselves. People need to get off social media and start being social again.
Besides, Who cares how many followers he has? Are they going to end world hunger or even bring lasting peace and harmony to the entire planet ushering in a world wide utopian society? No? Then he is no one special just like 99.9999% of the rest of us.
Humanity once had a colony on Europa but lost it during the Collapse. Now, abandoned cities submerged beneath the ice are all that remain.

Mars
During the Golden Age, Mars was once home to a populated human metropolis, Freehold, a massive city that now lies buried beneath the planet's red dust, with only the peaks of its tallest skyscrapers poking out of the dunes as evidence that it ever existed. Guardians can now climb into those skyscrapers from their upper levels and venture into the depths below to discover what items and enemies may lie below the surface.

That is all you needed to say. You make up your own mind. That's more than a lot that I've seen post here about his reviews can say. Too many mindless zombies troll these boards and use him as empirical data without playing the games themselves or playing very little.
twitch tv currently has about 50k people watching destiny if anyone wants to find any info about the game just get on twitch you dont need some idiot reviewer to tell how bad the game is,just see for yourself.that guy is making a living out of reviewing games so he opens himself up to critic.

Than why are you here?
The whole hipster attitude is getting old thinking that your some how mentally superior to others and thinking others cant think for them selves because they dont share the same opinions and taste as you. Im sure there are 1.5 million who views things the same way you do and some guy of the opposite taste is also saying about your crowd cant think for them selves either.

Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.
Originally posted by rojoArcueid The game is about to launch, i just hope they added the option to disable the forced aim assist. I hated that from alpha and beta, with a passion.
Aim assist is here to stay, as they don't want to alienate casual gamers (which will be the majority of the playerbase).
yeah i dont mind having it there, just let me manually turn it off in the options. Its really annoying. I get even less kills with aim assist on....

I'll stick with Firefall. It's free and a real MMO. You play with numerous players, and can join a Platoon of upto 20 other players. Destiny doesn't have an open world, it's a lobby game.

If we use the PS4 version... does that mean we can Keyboard and Mouse?!?! But serious **** aim assist.
i hope not. Mouse would completely ruin console gameplay IMO. People use gamepads on PC knowing that they will have a huge disadvantage with shooters. Bringing the mouse to the consoles just kills the console experience for those who dont use it and expect to win a match. Mind as well stick to PC instead. Kb for chatting? sure, mouse for gameplay? i hope not.

Lots of people using keyboard/mouse since beta on both xbone and ps4. The PS4 version does not support keyboard & mouse native, like other games on the PS4, but there is already a way to make it happen. Google it. The settings for the mouse need to be played with & you need to pump sensitivity in the game to max.
At least the console doesn't have rampant aimbot cheating. Well not that I know of.
Now if only they can fix the frame pacing issue in Destiny that makes the game studder down to a 22fps feel. It's been written about since alpha and they still have not fixed it.

As one of those 1.5M followers I find the 'hate' AJ gets amusing. ROFL!
As always, I like that AJ just tells it like it is for this game in that video. Whether I find what I see on that video interesting enough to buy Destiny is another issue.

Are you saying Skyrim or GTA is not a open world game because you couldnt roam outside of Skyrim or outside of Liberty City?
How big are the zones? What would you compare them to size wise.
