Xsyon: Prelude: Farming & Cooking Introduced

The Xsyon team has let us know about the latest game update that brings a pair of new features into the world: Farming and cooking. Players can now plant and participate in all the normal activities that surround raising a healthy crop. With all that's grown, players can further take on the challenges of concocting tasty dishes.

Xsyon’s innovative cooking system allows players to combine the ingredients and seasonings of their choice to create their own recipes. Players must match ingredient types and flavors to produce dishes that provide buffs and bonuses. Players can save their recipes in a cookbook and create special signature dishes.

This update also ramps up the survival aspect of the game as players now forage, fish, build fires and cook to survive and thrive in this apocalyptic new world!

    Cooking feels like a chore.  I want to play, not log in a feel like I'm at work.  Food decays... so you'll constantly be cooking.

    EVery year I see why, devs have a heart attack, its to easy, no its to hard, no its to this and that.. wah..

     

    I wish people would make there own game or go play something else if there going to make silly comments..

    I'm amazed this game is still going when I logged in about a year ago it was a ghost town. Anyone here play Xsyon? If yes, how is the game today? I heard they put up a pve server how did that go?

    I wish the guy doing this had more cash to put into the game.. not played the latest patch but did play qutie a bit earlier in the year and whats in game is some really good ideas that need some work to get them perfect... but it wont happen without cash and players.

    a nice size group of us decided to give it a go and we built up a nice little base and made some decent gear and went around killing zombies and other animals.. would have been a lot better if there was other peopel to fight as well haha... The crafting and building system is really nice and makes people work togeather to build the really big things.. I really like the tree system in the game, you chop the tree down and its falls down, you then have to chop it into different size logs then that tree is gone and wont grow back unless there are seeds on the ground or you plant new trees.. they then have to grow to full size before they are worth cutting down again.

    If a zombie kills you it will take your gear making him harder to kill when you go back.. :) also you encounter zombies that have kileld other people and have random gear on.

     

    Yeah lots of good ideas btu sadly without a big cash injection I dont think this game will ever make it.

    To some that's more fun than constantly being in combat which most MMOs titles seem to be centered around.

    The cooking and farming is pretty deep and done very well.Xsyon has almost everything I look for in a game but like others have said he needs more money to get the other stuff into the game and stuff already in the game fine tuned.
