This is a message to you all to thank you all so far in the Phase 1 of the beta test. Your bugs have been reported into our systems by the QA team that have been watching over your beta forum posts.
We are pleased to announce that we are now ready to commence with our preparations for Phase 2 of the testing and implement the fixes and brand new code to the servers. Yes thats correct I said servers. We are in the process of setting up a number of servers for phase 2 which will all contain the new code.
It brings a smile to my face to let you guys in on a few new features that the beta will now contain which Im sure you will all be happy to hear about.
1. Integrated the first round of bug fixes. 2. Brand new map has been added better get those snow shoes on. 3. Shuttle transports are now live so that you can get to the new map 4. Level cap has been increased from 39 to 50 5. With the increased level cap you can now use your second job change, which of course opens up some new goodies. 6. Storage System will be going live 7. Auction House will also be available for all to use
Phase 1 has been going extremely well so we are getting Phase 2 up as quickly as possible. We obviously have to install this onto the new hardware all in one go and that will mean server down time. We expect the servers to go down shortly and will be off line for 2-3 days while we put the new code on across all hardware. We will announce commencement of the new Phase via email and of course on the beta news page.
As a special treat to our Pre-order customers we will be opening the world up to you all at Phase 2 and I look forward to seeing you all in game in a couple of days.

I can't wait for the player housing! Once my Master Jedi Acretian has his biomech battlemech that turns into a spanish war galleon and whips out his skill deck for hot instanced-forced-group action they'll be no stopping me!

I am excited just got my pre-order beta key and ready to play. Wish it could have been up this weekend though but I am still happy that preorders are getting in earlier than expected.
The Phase 2 code was implemented successfully over the weekend and we are still working out a few issues before we will be ready to go live and allow the masses in for a good few weeks of gameplay.
We are looking to go live at some point Tuesday after some initial testing with the Phase 1 guys. Once we are happy with the code we will start to distibute emails and activate your keys for this exciting next phase of testing.
I look forward to seeing you all on the plains of the Sette Desert

I wonder when the 100 winners from the MMORPG.com sweepstakes will be receiving their e-mails. It's been over a month since the sweepstakes ended, the beta is in full swing and I haven't received anything from Codemasters or MMORPG.com. Except for a memo to make sure my e-mail address in their system is up-to-date. Which it is.
Any sweepstakes winners get any information yet?
UPDATE: Just received my RF Online Beta e-mail with all the instructions on 1/31/06 around 12:00 PM CST! Hope others are getting theirs too!

I am excited just got my pre-order beta key and ready to play. Wish it could have been up this weekend though but I am still happy that preorders are getting in earlier than expected.
Tomorrow huh? I pre-ordered my copy the 19th via gamestop.com and still haven't recieved my key.
Yeah...it took my order about a week to come, and it showed up in my bulk/spam folder...
Also If you think you deleted it go to www.gamestop.com and look for the hotline, they should give you your key if you deleted it or they lost it.
