Man I would love to get back into the secret world. My current laptop won't let me though . Unless there has been a significant optimization patch in the last 6 or so months.
I am sorry but; how is Penny a roleplayer when she switches factions for Fusang trolling moment and just chat with who she thinks makes an impact on Fusang's flow?
A moment Penny might be healing you against the Illuminatis, the next second she might be stabbing you Templars in the back. I mean, for all the conversations I am trying to make with Penny she just ignored me; instead, she chats with bigshots who show their faces more in Fusang. Sorry if I can't 1v10 and make a huge difference in Fusang, and that's solely the reason I play Fusang less.
Didn't really make it far in the game myself since I was playing mostly solo and got really annoyed seeing cars everywhere yet I couldn't get a mount, even a little scooter. But it might be different playing with others at least, Templar story line had me intrigued.

Originally posted by kosac so hows go int TSW? low fps in pvp? new pvp zones? replayeble main quests? no? after 3years?
Its not too bad but I think they need to bring down the price of the older issues or at least have a sale when they do once or twice a year like they do in DC Universe online to entice new players to keep playing once they have gone through the buy to play content . If they can catch up without having to spend a lot of money they are more likely to stay and pay full price for the new content .
Sounds like a fun project. It is one that is hard to give up the character I have since have not gotten far into the game. Makes me curious about trying this though.
I think there will be more details coming in Shannon's next column.
My client is up-to-date even if I don't play at the moment, so that's not a problem, my issue is: which character should I delete? I don't like to delete characters (it's against the core beliefs of an altoholic ) but I'm not sure about a new character slot either, since I don't know how many times I'll be able to join on Saturdays...
There's a big chance it will be a new slot in the end, all of my characters are cool
Already got a low level Lummie, just hit Kingsmouth. Saturday @ 8pm sounds fine and I'd love to join you. Still playing atm but only log in for Raid Mondays and Fridays with my cabal mates so it'll be nice to revisit the early parts of TSW.
I stalled out in Carpathia (couldn't proceed in the mainline quest with all lvl 10 gear and top tier skills in blood, blade, and pistol). I started to make a new character, but got to weapon selection and couldn't find a viable combo.
Until TSW fixes the skills trees so there is the possibility of synergy with more weapons, I just can't psych myself up into playing. The world is INCREDIBLE but the character creation is just so godawful. I would pile up skill points and not spend them because there was just nothing enticing. Thats bad game design.
It wouldn't take much to take the game from a C+ to a B+ or A- game, simply make certain branches of each skill have synergies with other weapons. Have one branch of fists which synergized with crits. Have a branch of assault rifles which synergized with DoTs. Etc.
Until they do this, there are just too few possible combos.
*Blink* I uh... perfectly comprehensive collection of sentences, in spite of that Penny claims herself a role player, showing solid proves where she is not but something more close to an average Joe, presented in front of you. And then the perfect grammar Nazi hits where grammar is less or more irrelevant, trying to ridicule a higher use of stanzes, clauses, and structures.
*Blink once more* I uh... What?
Be relevant for once and play with the character Penny, then you will know exactly why I listed my observations of her.

This times 1 billion. Great game world, epically failed character progression, itemization, abilties, animations. Game should have been a winner but in the end it is total garbage imho.

What server and faction? All my friends quit playing tsw unfortunately, so it'll be nice to have a group to run with again.
Arcadia (it's in the column...)
