Less elves, more guns/mechs??? New MMOFPS?

Hi, there is a petition going on for a game to get started (MMOFPS) the idea is here

If you agree with it, and would like to see a game like that, please sign it. Also, if you could pool you ideas, we could make something out of this, but we need your help! :D

all it would take is to sign it, and get things moveing. Like a planetside 2 only without SOE? :D

    Oh i dont know about that, huxley seems good and all, but another reason for signing the petition is to make them aware that people want this stuff! and no more elfs :(

    A 40k MMOFPS would rock, the background is so deep that developers will have so much to work with.

    Also, it would be pure PvP, no enemy NPC's, experiances could come through killing other players.

    Ideas, we need those ideas! ::::24::

    Huxley defenitly may not be the end all be all of the mmofps. Since my guess that it may be availible for console systems as well but who knows.

    MMOFPS does not have to be a guy or a gal with a gun with armor.

    It can involve controlling futuristic vehicles or starfighters and such as long as it's twitch based combat.

    good idea but npc's should be implemented aswell, give it a few things for the non pvp ers,. i myself a a semi-pvper and would like a few npcs to kill too

    And eve maybe a good game but like to control a character walking running on ground in whatever settings with hardcore pvp not in spaceships lol.

    I too like PvP to be optional. I really enjoy the Battlegrounds from WoW as they give a good, balanced fight, where skill & tactics really count.

    But I'm really ready for a Sci Fi MMORPG. Sick of sword swinging. I really love WoW, but it's time to fire up the flamethrower, prime the proximity mines, and load the mini gun with armor peircing.

    First I do not play EVE

    I hear this argument about EVE all the time, but to me it seems like this is a lack of perception.

    EVE is a spaceship, so you don't walk around and you do not see your toon walking around in the space station. Isn't a space station like a one stop store where you can buy what you need? The sysyem is like a city where you can pick which "store" you want to go to?

    The petition is for a FPS element to be interested, you could be in a FPS mode when you are in your fighter, and still be in FPS mode when you get out of it, and start shooting planetside style :D

    Planetside style shooters in sci-fi mmo's are overrated anyways.

    How many are there? I guess you either like those type of games or not, its a change of theme though that i really want, cant stand anymore elves or fairys stuff =(

    I like first person shooters as long as you are docked at a planet's city, inside the station or even in a capital ship where you can dock your small vessels. I also like having space flight travel on top of it as well. One thing I do not like having first person shooters is inside some space vessels where there are no docking ports for star fighters and such. Your supposed to do space combat with these type of vessels.

    I Guess.

    There are some first person shooters that exist.

    Planetside, Neocron. There are a few others I can't remember on the top of my head.
