My brother bought Destiny today. So I created a new character to Level alongside him.
So after the first intro mission, we have been leveling together as a 2-man Fireteam. Doing the 2 MAIN Story missions on Old Russia and then enter Exploration (Patrol) mode and just roamed around doing patrol missions, his first Public Event and getting our arses kicked in a Level 9 area.
We even end up discovering a huge Cave somewhere in a building filled with Level ?? (20) enemies that one shotted us.
An area I had not discovered yet on my now Level 20 Titan, eventho I patrolled and explored Old Russia many Nights.
This is why I love this game so much and have a blast! I now have a New Level 20 area to explore tomorrow in Old Russia with my Level 20 Titan.
Like someone else said in another thread. This game is build from the ground up to be FUN! Instead of being build around a cash shop, like all MMO's these days!
This game is also highly polished and Plays smooth as hell. Aside from the occasional server disconnect (due to high load), I have not encountered a single bug or issue in this game!
10 hours in and I'm not into it anymore. Just so damn boring, same thing over and over.
There are promises that the game changes after 20 hours or whatever, but...I just can't bring myself to play games like this any longer.
Also, why the hell is this game on this site? It isn't an MMO. If Destiny is on here, a lot of other co-op games should be as well.
Com ci com ca.
The game does open up however. IGN did a first take on Vault of Glass and it was one of the things they commented on. Not a defend Dinklage in sight. Sadly none of the panel have got to that part yet - not even sure they are on the multiplater maps that came out last Saturday. Still two further content roll outs in September as well.
Why is this game on the site - well to be cynical - the site needs the traction. However in fairness it is because the game is more than just a co-op; certainly more of an mmo than some solo orientated recent releases that's for sure!
the devs always said it was never an MMO, the people gave it the MMO title, the devs stated multiple times it's not an mmo.
