Looking for somewhat low end mmo shooter.

As the title says I'm looking for a mmo shooter that I can play on my laptop while away from home.  Preferably something with rpg elements in a western, wasteland, or sci-fi setting. TPS or FPS is fine. Also I prefer it be free and not too majorly pay-to-win if it has a shop.

I've never really tried a mmo shooter before so I'm open to almost anything. Above is just what I think I'll prefer.

Laptop specs

Windows 7 Home Premium x64

AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core @1.2 GHz

4GB RAM

ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics (1918 MB)

Current: Rift - (Looking for a good shooter mmo)
Retired Veteran: WoW(Vanilla,TBC), Warhammer Online, EQ2, DAoC, Guild Wars

    You can try Firefall, Global Agenda or Neocron 2.

    Firefall looks like something I'd like, but I doubt my laptop can run it.  Unless it can handle it on low settings or if there's a low-end patch of some sort.

    I just tried Firefall on a laptop with a little bit better specs than yours and it would barely run on the lowest setting. Try Team Fortress or a real blast from the past in Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, the latter is totally free and has a still active mod community.

    That's what I figured about Firefall. I'll take a look at team fortress. I'm trying to avoid the World War/Modern games. I'm not sure why, but I highly dislike that kind of atmosphere.

    Fallen Earth, I liked that more than Firefall and its a wasteland like fallout games

    i think Quake Live came back on steam. Check it out.

    Fallen Earth seems fun so far.  It's a little clunky on my laptop, but still playable. Wasn't quite what I'm looking for though. Downloading Global Agenda right now to check it out.

    What about that zombie shooter , Hellgate, I believe?    I heard that was still around, could be wrong though.
