Crashing at intro

Has anyone else experienced crashing at the intro video?
At first I was having problems with the "un-skippable" cutscene. In which after pressing ESC on the Trion splash and 2 other videos I skip. I am forced to watch a cutscene where you see a field and some wildlife are roaming and different locales.
At first, this cutscene would just stop and the server selection screen would appear. However, now it just crashes (without errors or notifications) to the desktop.
The servers are up and operational (although as of now, the servers will be down soon)
Has anyone else experienced these problems? and if so, how (if you were able to) did you fix it?
So far I have...
Reinstalled the entire game, turned off intro movie cinematic, alt-enter fullscreen/window swap, admin start.
Waiting on support but we know how long queues are in, and surrounding this game.

I have been playing since Alpha (yes, i had enough extra cash AND, more specifically, extra stupid to buy my way in)
I had absolutely no problems with the game until a few days ago when I started having the unskippable intro problem (this started occuring on my desktop).
Now, on my laptop which has ran the alpha and beta with no problems, I began to get the unskip-intro problem again, which did not phase me much as it ALWAYs eventually (within 5mins) let me into the server screen. But now that video (which seemlingly cannot be skipped) is crashing and has no noticeable or valid reasons as to why.
I don't believe its hardware related for most people and instead is on Trion's side (which scares me even more because at least I can try to fix it.... Trion has a track record that says they wont even look at it...
So far, queues, server stability...hell server entering, Patron status... all are flawed considerably.
The crashing at intro is due to server issues.
They may be up and running - but your system is having issues connecting, normally this happens when they are under a DDOS attack, or they are having server latency issues.
It's happened to myself a few times, and when I am running fine - a guildee might be having that issue.
Just keep trying - and it will push you in ..
same with the intro loop - just let it play, and when it can finally connect to servers - it will connect and switch to server select screen.
PS - All mammals have nipples.
Get over it already.
