ArcheAge: Latest Update Focused on Servers, Patron Bonus Time

According to a new post on the ArcheAge site, patrons who have been less than happy with the game's playability since launch will have some compensation coming in the form of days added and the ability to an extra Founder's Pack should they choose to head to a new server. In addition, the team's customer service group has expanded and NA players are informed about Sunday's DDOS attack.

If you were a patron as of launch day, last week you were granted a bonus amount of patron time to cover the head start period. In an update we did while the servers were running on Saturday, we expanded that to more time and more people, essentially making Patron time only begin ticking as of yesterday.

Making sure that all patrons have their bonuses has been incredibly important to us, as is making sure we’re as generous as we can be, wherever we can, and things are now working well for the vast majority. There are still a handful of patrons who need touching up, and making sure that they’re taken care of remains the priority for our software teams.

    This game must be awesome!..... after the 24 hour queue ......if you don't get disconnected from the server that is......or if you don't afk...... can a queue be called a game?

    Looking good and my main is on one of those. I have seen people say those servers will be ghost towns, but I could play this game on a ghost town server because that just means everything would be mine and make my quest for world domination much easier.

    Europe has 7-8 servers, all of them queued, forever.

    They should rename this game "Queues are Us".  They had to know that the LP system would cause this problem.

    I just downloaded "Queue Simulator" and I gotta tell ya, I am getting every bit of queue satisfaction that I could ever hope $50 would bring. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!

    I've been playing computer games for a long, long time.  How a company puts out a game with such massive queues is just beyond me.  If I am paying for a game, I HAVE to be in when I want...whenever.  More servers.  More servers?  Whatever it takes.  What a poorly run business that doesn't make their product available for consumption.

    FYI, whether or not there is a que is dependent on whether or not you're paying for Patron status. Patrons get front loaded so when you hear people talking about no ques keep it in mind.

    Not much of a kickback.. I have only gotten to play on the first day of the headstart and that was maybe for an hour. Pretty horrible deal for 150 smackers and by the time it all dies down my patron time will probably be up too.

    Yeah....I'm patron and i stand in a queue around 2.5k everyday if not more. If people aren't in a queue it has to do with them loging in earlier on the day when people are at work or late at night when most people are to bed. Peak hours it doesn't matter if you are patron or not, there are a ton of patrons and they all have to wait in the queue as well.

    Seriously guy's, if the queue is so difficult for you, move to a different server.
