Why is Hearthstone even on this site?

in Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft

Hearthstone is not a Massively Online RPG and if you have it on this site, then there's thousands on Play Online games you could have on here.

Is it just because it's a Blizzard game or is there something else?  I wouldn't say Diabo 1-3 are MMO's either.

Just saying.

    That's kind of like asking why people are so enamored about a game Blizzard has cancelled.  Because it's Blizzard and they get page hits talking about them.

    Just erase mmorpg.com from you mind and replace it with gamestabloid.com... it better describes the content on this site.  They switched from an MMORPG dedicated site a long time ago and it has been reiterated by the staff here that they will cover any game.

    Hearthstone is on this site because this site no longer covers JUST MMORPGs. It now covers all things popular in video gaming. The staff have been over this numerous times already.

    Can honestly say I haven't picked this up before i.e. that it was announced that all games are covered - but then I only read the forums and only those of certain games.

    Its a MOG  multiplayer online game.   It might even be a MMOG  massive multiplayer online game.

     

    It could also be a RPG as you are roleplaying a mage or shaman etc... and controlling their minions to defeat an opponent.

    You've clearly missed the banners advertising Hearthstone.

    And also, it's related to WoW, which is an MMORPG. So it's not that far fetched.
