I just wanted to touch a little on the bot situation. Now it's said tomorrow will be a patch to handle the issue. But I don't think that will work or be enough. I've been gaming a long time. And the only way you can ever seem to kill bots. Is to have "Active" live GM's actually personally deleting accounts in real time.
This has a very bad effect on bot companies. Because it nullifies stock and puts some kind of fear into the companies. That right now have zero fear in fact. They're outright trolling all of us in the game. I made the same live GM suggestion to TESO. Who literally did it 10 hours later.
And pretty much decimated the bot action. They were around in spurts. You will never kill them. But forcing bot companies to basically work silently. Goes a long way to getting rid of a majority of them.

Bots certainly went rapant yesterday in Archeage. They found a way to "clear" the chat before their message, making it physically impossible to block them or see any other messages from anyone. All communication was stopped for at least 3-4 hours, as the spamming was continous without break between the messages of more than 0.5 seconds.
In the evening the "Fastgold" spammer was still around, however the messages was further apart and it was again possible to at least talk a little bit over the /Faction channel. Since they were still around, it cannot have been Trion that did anything, which is puzzling to me because I would think they would lose a lot of players this way.
While a live GM certainly would be able to stop this, a single GM could monitor all the servers, I am in no doubt that text-recognition wouldnt be impossible to do. Right now, it just hanst been done.
its inteesting how the situation is different on EU and NA. EU has no gold spam since days but when i login to NA the chat is full of it.
Yesterday also nearly all bots disapeard on the known spots on EU
