Have Server Queues Begun to Subside?

I've been looking forward to trying AA for a couple of years now but wanted to avoid the chaos over the past couple of weeks.

 

Was thinking about installing it this afternoon and trying to get started tonight but if the queues are still an issue, I have no problems waiting another week or two.

    Well, I no longer get queues of 3000 if that's what you mean. I do get queues of 100 or so but I find them do-able. Also I only get queues during peak hours. Hope that helps.

    You can no longer create new characters on older server and as it goes for new server and EU, I haven't experienced any queues so far.

    Yea, they have for sure.  Last night (friday) during peak hours, only half had a queue while every other server was "HIGH".

     

    I am entitled to my opinions, misspellings, and grammatical errors.

    I think that the number of players have begon to subside :P 

    Dont even have queues anymore in the weekend in Europe.

    (just looked 2 servers have lines (of about 30 or so) and 2 servers are "up" and the rest is "high")

    Thats at 7:02PM saturday night.

    I logon now and again to see whats up, but moost of the time i get bored in an hour or so.

    Its funny to see they put in "Summer" swimsuit in the CS just when it got autumn :P

    When I play at 5am EST all servers are just Up. When I get home it shows Queue but as Patron I get in instantly (the queue is like 4 people). For non-Patrons I would expect a 10-20 minute queue time, maybe longer on peak times.

    That's right. The only restrictions which exists are for East/West continent balance and only in some servers.

     

    The character delete  / create restrictions are still in and those, I believe, are permanent: character level 1-9 has a 10 minute delay, 10-29 a 24-hr delay and 30+ a 7-day delay.

    Yeah seems like the population dropped significantly enough they dropped server restrictions completeley. Happened yesterday or day before yesterday.

    The queue back yesterday (Sunday) evening in EU - Eanna with the gold spammers, still not a issue for Patrons, its 10 -20min to get in in worse cases.

    Later at night (around 22:00 gtm+0) no queue and less gold spammers, hope Trion are really fight them.

    The idea i have in EU is that queues are only created by gold spammers (since theres no restrictions atm to create chars) , i might be wrong but looks like.

    Havent been in queue since they introduced the char-select screen afk kick (2nd most populated EU server Dahuta), but i do generally log in before 12am CET

    I've been playing late evenings Pacfic Time (US) and haven't seen a queue for days, even on the weekend. Having said that, others' mileage may vary.

    queue's are gone.  So are the short afk autokicks.

    Looks like the initial surge of players is starting to dissipate.

    There are however still problems with the logon server(s). Most of the time I am unable to log on, getting the message that the username/pw should be checked. If I try long enough, eventually it will continue. Last weekend I tried it about 5 times (yeah I know it's not much) before giving up, as a result I have not played in 2 weeks.
