So, did anyone get into the beta? I didn't, and I'm a little disappointed that I didn't since I'm one of the bigger fans of the game. I'm assuming they picked the 500 people because they have specific system specs or something...
I managed to get in, will post some screenies and impressions etc in general once I've explored a bit. People need to remember this is the first game (or first in a long while) to have a NDA free beta, so what you see will be in the earliest stages.

I didn't get in. I don't know why the hell they just ask for your dxdiag instead of asking for experience. You know damn well if they judge by specs they don't need all the other BS. Next time I think I'm going to get the dxdiag of a super high spec PC.
I think Seed is going to be a game i'de want to play more then just 2 weeks.
Seed does not have PVP, or lvl-grinding. Seed does have Roleplaying, and a crafting system.
Seeing as i do not favour combat, and rather build/hang out, i feel i'll really admire Seed.
But alas, i think i was one of the initial Beta entry's, and yet i didnt get in iether. i did apply for it, but, i dont know how far that's going to take me.
So a word to everyone who did get in, If your lookin for PvP, or lvl-grinding, feel free to email me your beta key :P and if your not looking for pvp and lvl-grinding, good luck testing the game, i hope you all can contribute to the better workins of a fine game.
(sorry for rambling, it's 2 am haha)
Anyway, as for the NDA, well, how could you blame them for "not" having one? i mean most mmo games with NDA's seem to get negative attitude from players, this way it's open field. i think it's a great step to dev - player relationships. dont you think?
I'm kinda the same way, but I have no problems with having combat in the game either. Sometimes it's good, but not all the time. I wanted some content that I could get into that didn't require me to go out somewhere to kill 4350 kobolds or something.
I'm kind of scared though. Every game that says its going to have this, this, and this... and I get my hopes up... always ends up bombing more than GW Bush when its his "time of the month".
Hopefully the amazing art style of Seed doesnt take their thoughts away from the real goals... making a GOOD game. God knows we need one on the market

Its going ok so far. Server and client are much more stable than when it began. Lag can get a bit ridiculous at times. They are still working on server stuff, so no new content/systems have been introduced yet. It has been mentioned that they may let in more testers in a week or so. At the rate they are going with fixes that seems plausable.

Nope, I didn't get into the beta there. I didn't post on their forums though so I didn't really help my chances any.
I also signed up but I didn't get in either.
I did post a bit on their forums but the other guys always seemed to make more interesting remarks so I must have been overshadowed by them.
Besides 500 testers isn't much considering there where thousands who signed up.
Oh well it's only the initial phase so we might still get in later.

I also got in, and don't worry the email reads like it's more of an Alpha test than a Beta test.
