The Secret World: Golden Weekend Announced

Funcom has announced that this upcoming weekend is a special one for The Secret World players. Called the "Golden Weekend", players will be able to take part in the Gilded Rage event, take advantage of double ability points, get some great deals on Funcom Points and more.

    I'm trying to change up my build, so the double AP or SP points are going to be appreciated.

     

    I can not remember winning or losing a single debate on the internet.

    played last night and got myself roughly 69 AP....it was nice...very nice!

     

    Also tried to do Darkness dungeon normal with my QL10 toon and a cabal member (Shayyd)....got our asses kicked...guess I can't solo that one yet :P

     The double ap is really nice was able to get a couple of my aux weapon skill's unlocked.

    But god the lag fest when a golden golem appeared on the map.

    I saw the gold man you have to kill to do nightmares walking around in Trans too....he was green for friendly npc though...are you supposed to follow him?

    Yeah, the Gatekeeper walking through a zone is an indication that the golem is going to spawn there soon . . . follow him (& call out the sighting in #event chat if you want people to turn up) & you'll eventually see him summon Samsu Nasiru (the gold golem world boss).

    I actually attacked Samsu and his 17.5 million HP's just to see...I got destroyed
