Lots of angry folks in AA (and in gaming) that attack everything. It really just comes down to one thing: do you enjoy the game? If you do then don't let the negative folks affect your gaming.
Our guild helped slay the 1st Kracken the other day, and half of our guild officers were banned 'automatically' by the Trion bots. Evidently, our competition who cant beat us in the game, have found a way to ban our leaders using the very loose report system.
Be warned, trion has terrible anti-farmer/anti-bot support and if you have any success, it only takes 20 or 30 players to ban your officer corps (officers have lots of resources/money on accounts so you can build castles, etc.).
That being said, the things in the game are quite fun.. after you get over the perma-gank aspect of the game.
Good Review in Progress, Bill. Also note, if you plan to just trade on friendly faction side, you can also use public transport carriages and large airships for getting your trade packs closer to your destination.
Originally posted by kurohisan Imo this game should be played like the player wants. Not like ppl commented here.
I see no problem if someone wants to grind hasla or turn in tradepacks at safezones. It's theyre choise.
Obviously ppl are pissed coz they can't steal those packs from lowlvls. I have been doing that and got patron, and loads of apexes , with ingame gold.
Farmin and crafting with small amount of pve is just fine for me. Tho i do pvp in warzones sometimes too .
But i still don't see a point why someone wouldnt just pve in this dx-based farmville
Because Hastla equipment is only "mid-tier" at best in the grand scheme of things. Crafted gear far exceeds it later on. Once you have your hastla weapons, there's like, no reason to PvE whatsoever, practically. Dungeon loot is equally terrible compared to crafted loot.
It's basically a similar situation to Wildstar interestingly enough where there simply isn't any reason to PvE past a certain point if you aren't raiding (the MAJOR diference being that unlike Wildstar, there's other things to do, obviously. But those other things are mostly PvP so if that's not your cup of tea, Archeage probably isn't your type of game)

Great game, but.. has some negatives.
