I cant post on the official forums so im posting here. I tried to renew my subscription but its not working for some reason. I first tried direct to my credit card and it said it worked but when i logged in to the game said i didnt have a valid subscription. Then checked the site and sure enough said payment failed yet my cc was charged $1.00? Why $1.00. I then decieded to go trough paypal but yet again it wanted to charge me $1.00, i didnt bother to go through with the payment upon seeing it was gonna charge me that amount again. Anyone experience this?

Isn't the $1.00 usually just like a "check" on the cards validity and gets refunded?
Haven't experienced anything like that so far, and I've canceled/resubbed a few times now. It's always worked smoothly for me
Correct. The charge will probably go through at a later time.
I had similar experience. I used paypal since release of the game. In August it somehow failed to deduct funds. I contacted support and they blamed paypal. They even told me to call paypal and I did. Paypal said everything was synced correctly and nothing looked out of place. I tried Zenimax support again and they blamed paypal.
I was ready to quit. I used my CC just to see if it would work and it did. Soon as it successfully deducted I went back into my account and setup paypal again. When September came due it successfully went through paypal.
I didn't change a single thing Zenimax account side or Paypal side. They did have a few similar posts on the forums with people that had similar occurrence.
Love the game, hate the support and their billing system seems to have some hiccups. A final bit of advice from my end. If you want to get a hold of support use their email. I tried the call back feature which said the call wait was five minutes. They never called...
