Hi

I found this game Perpetuum and i also googled it, becaus ei want to know if this game still is active ?

Is it any good or fun ?

Worth the money ?

Some people say the game is dead and have like 40 players online,

Then some people say its awsome, but if that post was from one of these 40 players then i dont know about this game :D

So is this game still a thing ?

It's been a long time since I heard anything about the game.  I'm doubtful that it has a thriving community, although it probably has a small hardcore group that keep it going.  I imagine you would have a hard time breaking into it, without a guild or something.

They have an active forum, why don't you check it ?

And they've just launched on Steam, so I guess the game is far from being dead.

Well it just got greenlit on Steam, so i think there will be an influx of new players, but if they are staying... no clue.

I tried to play it, but for me it is just not worth the time.. i can play max 30 min, then i am so bored.

There is little inventory to all the stuff you will find when fighting npc, i think it was something like go back to base and empty your inventory after 10 npc's or something.

Try it, just dont have any sort of expectations of staying for very long.

Game is 10% off on steam so I picked it up 2 days ago, seems like quite a few people are on when I am.

I sunk years into that game and even got to know the developers personally. Sadly I eventually quit when all the guys I played with since the earliest alpha days moved on to other games.

I will say that till the end of those 3 years or so I had an absolute blast playing it, and would prefer to remember that game that way. But what the game has slowly become is not what interests me anymore, and so I'll never return. But maybe it will be better for others.

My number one complaint of the game was always the multi-boxing. It becomes mandatory if you want to play competitively, and with some people multiboxing over 10 clients. (I say this with 100% cetainty, as I was one of those people running 12 accounts at once.) It got OLD fast, and I noticed I was working a second job in the game. To make it worse, the devs promoted this gameplay as it meant more income, and so it was made easier to essentially P2W the game. And that was the final straw for me, along with friends quiting over the same issue as well.

I have to sadly recommend "against" playing it these days. I do occasionally read the updates, so I know these issues have not changed. And in fact have gotten 10x worse since it's now a B2P game with a cash shop selling P2W.

To find an intelligent person in a PUG is not that rare, but to find a PUG made up of "all" intelligent people is one of the rarest phenomenons in the known universe.
