Last night I sat down at my computer to finally get my chance to dive into the Halloween story. Nevermind that it’s past Halloween now, it’s always Halloween in The Secret World. Or at least it feels that way. So I logged Penny in and hit the button to get it started. Wow do I regret that.

Awesome work
As for the event, dunno the others but I play with my Lawbreaker only occasionally on Saturdays, so he's pretty low QL, too low for Meeow and for the Broadcast. BUT not for the Spooky story collection, especially not if there are other lowlie Lawbreakers around. I'm out this weekend, but not on the next, and I think the event will still be there on next Saturday.
So I'm thinking about collecting the spooky pages then. It's non-repeatable anyways, so if you want to relive it you need a new character for the job - which I have now, due to the cabal
She is not. Her name is Penny "Manxome" Marino.
This is really a great event, playing through the entire Halloween content once more, and it´s awesome.
thanks Funcom well done and the short delay is forgiven )
I'm back again, The Secret World just keeps calling me in. Working on an Illuminati tank this time, started off Blade/Chaos but really wanted to be able to Debilitate easily, so switched the Blade to Hammer. Just entered the Savage Coast.
I've seen some of the lore and new things around Kingsmouth, but am I able to start on these quests, or do I need to be QL10 to be able to handle them? I heard the cat one goes into Blue Mountain, which is scary enough even if you're geared for that level.
Blue Mountain is not that scary, but yep, for Cat God I'd say you need to be at least QL8ish, and/or bringing a good team.
That's why I wrote above I'll focus onto completing the spooky stories with my lowlie, from the three events maybe that's the most newcomer-friendly. You still need to visit Blue Mountain, and for a few fights it could help to bring a couple of friends (they can be lowlies too), but that event is not that tough overall. The only issue could be Jack, that's a hard fight, luckily it's in the open, so you can ask additional help if your group of 5 can't beat him.
Broadcast also has its tough moments, so I'd say if you're only at the Coast, leave Meow and Broadcast for the next year - or tag along folks above QL10.
