Getting nostalgic with MMORPG music

Hi guys,

I've been a role player fan since I was a kid and played many games in the past 15 years (or so).

As a tribute for the amazing background music we all hear in the games, and sometimes we just ignore, I decided to create a project a couple of months ago and start recording all cover music of the games that had a big influence in my life. For me in particular, I can't avoid remember times while I was playing such games, when I just hit play on some of the old soundtracks, that's called nostalgia :)

Anyway, I just want to share a bit of my work with you, in this case I've just recorded one of the town theme musics for Lineage 2, Dark Elf Town.

Now every time I hear it, It brings back so many memories, as in fact a dark elf fighter was my first character in the game, back in 2004.

    I get overwhelming nostalgia listening to the Elwynn Forest soundtrack from wow. Being a 13 year old in 2004 and playing through the zone on my human warrior. All the memories flood back. The sense of awe and complete immersion I had.

    , feralas, silthius, terokkar Forrest all bring strong memories for me. Thinking about it they all correspond to zones with good music + a lot of time spent rep grinding.
