Get two days of early access when open beta starts for a free game by paying the box price of a regular game. Yeah, you're number one! (That isn't my index finger, btw.)
An early cash grabs shows the real intent of the publisher. To get as much money up front as possible before the game dies, because they don't have any faith that the game will break even on a cash shop alone. As someone who used to support F2P games, the "hero's pack" or "founder's pack" or "we want your money before you've played the game pack" or Whatever TF you want to call it are the death of my support. Want me to pay $60 on a game? Ok, but the game had better not crash due to excessive server load. The game had better not be cash shop dependent. The game had better be ready for release to a western audience. It had better have regular updates (not cash shop updates) both in terms of bug fixes and content. Frankly given what I saw of the CBT, two whole days of early access and a few measly pretties ain't worth no $60.

The offered packs for this game are indeed silly and stupid.
What remains to be seen however, is how much of a cash grab the actual cash shop will be. I expect the worst to be honest.

I wasn't aware that "most games" were $10. Yes, they offered a $60 pack but honestly - it's underpowered for what it provides.
The $10 pack seemed reasonable, a nice boost for showing a little support. For the entertainment value I'll get from $10 I'd say this is a fair investment.
