Seeking new game

With the crapfest that is SWG NGE I quit and haven't seen an MMO in two months, but I need to get my fix in. I'm searching for a game that has a complex crafting system like SWG did, as I'm not all that combat centric. If anyone can offer suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

Umm, I got a few suggestions, but most I'm sure you won't like:

    Everquest
    Everquest 2
    Eve Online
TS Online (phillipines version is still free http://mbsoft.ph/ )
    Rubies of Eventide

There's 1 other I know, but it's a mod of an existing game, so I can't mention it on the boards. Feel free to PM me however if those others don't pan out, and I'll dig deeper into my bag of tricks.

I played SWG also for a while before NGE came out. Tried the NGE and found out how the social aspect went down the drain. If you like SWG I would suggest waiting for The Chronicle, because no game out right now will really satisfy you like SWG used to. Just play a game you already have if you have any other MMO's.

I left SWG (Subscribe While you Grind) just before the CU. I went to EVE online, good crafting (manufacturing) system I'd say superior to SWG. Also there are many ways to earn money and power in EVE other than just killing stuff. Mining, trading, manufaturing, hauling, piracy, smuggling, bounty hunting and theft are some of them. Yeh I know sounds like alot of what $OE promised at launch of SWG but either never happened or has now been taken away or made defunct.

Also the skill system is excellent you can train new skills while online and don't need to powergrind to keep up with the gamers that never sleep!

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience"

I have no idea what most if those acronyms are, but i think you should try playing Runescape. It's prbably not what you are looking for, but you should try it anyway. Also, I have no idea what oyu mean by ""crafting system" Which means my suggestion means almost nothing. But Runescape is still an awesome game.

Try Saga of Ryzom or EVE.

A Tale in the Desert is your game then. There is no combat, just pure crafting.

Ive played all the games suggested and so far IMHO Horizons has the best crafting system arround. If thats all you really want...the other elements are ok.

I would recommend EVE. Pretty cool crafting system, but an unbeatable market system.
