It is indeed another instances loading please wait instance zones the like of entering from warp speed to space station etc.

Not happy at all, the search for seamless space sim for superfast PC continued.

Supercruise is an awesome idea, but at least right now it works very badly when you come out of it. It looks seamless until you want to exit, but then it stalls for a while and suddenly your position glitches and you find yourself right next to a station or inside an asteroid field with no explanation. It's very jarring and something I hope they fix before release. In Frontier it was completely seamless with no glitchy teleporting or loading.

Supercruise has been god awful.  The principle itself is sound,  the performance is horrible and there is no way to improve it unless they really really rework the entire model.  Entering and exiting a whole other instance is not very fluid at all and when you need to slow down it is too late.  Not enough cues nor hud indications to help.  Its just piss poor.

    Beautifully explained.

    RIP FD.

I wouldn't go so far as to say RIP - as the major gaming sites out there already are guaranteed to give it a high score because of what they accomplished.

We have so few games of this magnitude out there  that they are forced to reward these attempts with high scores.  Personally I think it'll get around a 90% mainly for the euphoria of the fanboy orgasm of release.  They could release a pile of shit to the public and it would still get 90% at this point.

But anyone who plays the game for 100 hours and then does their review will see things from a different perspective.  It is extremely repetitive and shallow.

As far as I can tell, the content in E:D is pretty much exactly the same as in the original Elite, just much prettier and with some expanded features. So those that loved the original Elite should enjoy the modern version just as much.

But that doesn't imply that everyone (or even the majority of gamers) will like E:D. I expect that the game will have a strong but quite small group of fans.

Oh, I would go as far as R.I.P. Since if you look closely at Frontier history the like of Outsider which had been canned for they do not have the programming skills comcerning open world game the like of Rockster GTA, in which Sony & Microsoft monopoly that had bribed Rockstar not to release on PC even though it was made on PC.

    You can google it up.
