Ok, have a few questions for those Beta-ers out there. So here we go:
1) Weapons- Are there all the different weapons types (ie- Rapier, sling, trident, etc.) in the game? Do you have to take feats to be able to use them? Are there real differences? (ie- is a rapier different from a sword? or a spear different from a trident?)
2) It may be too early to tell and since it is just beta there may not be real serious players yet, but does any role playing go on?
3) How exactly do feats work in the game? (picking feats, using feats that sort of thing)
Thanks in advance
ps- If anyone can help me understand exactly how to get into the beta stress test or how to get signed up for it, I would be in your debt. Thanks again)
Modjoe86- Gambling is a sin.
Laserwolf- Only if you lose.

Rapier - yes
Sling - no (only bows, crossbows, and throwing things are in game as ranged)
Trident - no (no polearms in game)
The weapons fall into the DnD categories - martial, simple, etc. Your class determines what you are proficent with. You can also take a feat for a group proficency. There are differences with different types of swords, some are piercing (shortsword) and some are slashing (longsword). They also do different amounts of damage.
I recommend finding a RP guild. The general pick up group does not roleplay (at least through alpha and beta, but there's usually less RP during beta).
You pick feats at your level ups, just like in PnP. Some feats are passive (like Weapon Focus) and some are active (Power Attack). If its an active feat, then you have to click a button on your tool bar to activate it.
Info on their homepage. You can also play for free for a few days, if you sign up with IGN.

Beta is over in a few weeks, so your only chance is a free preview (through IGN or FilePlanet) or pre-order.
