So my server Enla has got to be the most plagued server in all of ArcheAge.
I know for a fact that there are still people running programs in the background to instantly grab property since I saw it just yesterday right before my eyes.
Also our server seems to be going down pretty much daily for "maintenance" without notice. This means we probably house about 20% of the bots, cheaters, server crashers, and packet manipulators in the game.
I really hope they can get a handle on things. So far they have made several attempts and made things better. But auction house prices are now inflated, haven't heard any figures on who got in trouble and for how long they are banned. There are just alot of questions and no real answers yet for our server.
"It's broke and we are working on it" really doesn't cover things either. More details and transparency are needed.
I remain cautiously optimistic, but the thread title seems to be current server status sadly.

Yeah, I was able to get a 16x16 every weekend for 3-4 weeks, now it is the same 3-4 hackers getting every piece of land almost that pops up in the last 4-5 weeks. I was curious, looked at a website to see what the hell they were doing, they can supposedly see all the land that is coming up due, and teleport to it, then hack grab it....Trion is in a bad situation, since they supposedly cannot rewrite code, XL has to do it, but they could at least ban these people...
The history of mmorpgs continues, cheaters are not held accountable and flourish.
It is pretty clear to me at this point that Trion has no real intention of running this game long-term. I think they are now short-term focused on harpooning as many remaining whales as they can, melting them down to extract maximum blubber, and moving on. Every other aspect of the game and its players is secondary to maximum short-term cash extraction, I think.
I would not be surprised if there are server mergers by late January, and those merged servers themselves are ghost towns by April.
hell thats every server.
