OK how do I use mostly MSI and/or msi-x and invariant tsc?if I disable hpet in bios does it enable pit or MSI?do I need to reinstall(since I installed with hpet.I get better result with invariant tsc .having read what MSI do ,I all go that route (yes even if it means updating non msi and/or msi-x(pcie3)I use a i5 2500k my initial plan is to force GPU (and 7950 boost)to run in MSI mode.

MSI means a lot of different things:

There's MSI, Microstar International, computer & parts manufacturer.

There's MSI, the Microsoft Self Installer

There's MSI, the Medium Scale Intergration type of IC (as opposed to the common VLSI)

There's MSI, Messaged Signal Interrupts function of the PCI 2.2 specification

There's MSI, Magnetic Source Imaging, used in brain mapping (my vote is he means this one, for obvious reasons)

There's MSI, the Museum of Science and Industry, in Chicago.

I'm sure there are many more, these are just off the top of my head.

Message signal interrupt extended,in regard to why it use lapic instead of invariant tsc.hopefully dx12 will suggest alternativemsi/x and lapic is the worst thing that could happen to PC or console ,it just can't keep up
