Any good tips on games with gorgeous graphics?

Hi guys I am looking for a pc game that provides awesome environments and amazingly detailed surroundings. I have no problems modding the game if that makes it look better. I have a good pc which can handle most of the games. Any suggestions? Gameplay is not that important I just want to enjoy the visual gameplay. Very thankful for answer!

gw2 imo is a very good looking game with beatifull and rich world

archeage is an eye candy too ....... although in AA i had my worst mmo experience ... sailing in ocean for the 1st time was one of the gaming moments i will remember in the future (music is great in this game too)

tera has very beatifull models ...... impressive and detailed big cities ... the rest of the world at first looks very good but after a while you have the feeling that is more a painting than persisting world

swtor has "good" graphics , but a bit plastic for my taste

vindictus has good models but it is a lobby game

FF:ARR is rich and beatifull too, but with a strong anime feeling

i personally  like champions online graphics too, but they are comic-style, celshaded and a bit campy ..... not suited for all tastes

i play only mmos and i bet single players games may have better graphics but i cannot express opinion for them atm , since i haven't tried them

    All-time fave : City of Heroes/Villains

Played and returning from time to time : GW2, Tera, CO

Played: Aion, Archeage, DCUO, FXIV:ARR, Rift, SWTOR, TSW, Vindictus, Wildstar

Playing atm : WoW, Hearthstone, Tera, GW2

In terms of MMOs, you forgot Elder Scrolls Online which has beautiful graphics. Of course Archeage and TERA are great too, but I prefer the art style of ESO.

Of course, if we're talking about pure graphics then the best games right now are Assassin's Creed Unity and Ryse. Lords of the Fallen, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Far Cry 4 and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor also look very good.

I would also mention Driveclub which looks fantastic for a racing game, although it's a PS4 exclusive.

Definitely Skyrim with a few of the graphical mods installed.

If you want something current, Dragon Age Inquisition. Gorgeous graphics and the best character models and face animations I have ever seen.

If it's stunning visuals you want and you don't care so much about the game play I'd recommend EVE Online personally though I agree with the rest of the group on their suggestions as well if you'd rather play something from the 'sword and board' genre.

Should you want a 21 day trial of EVE (as opposed to the 14 day they offer directly on their site) shoot me a PM with your email address and ill send you one out - provided doing so isn't consider a breach of some sort of rules on this site...

In terms of straight up visual eye candy with no bounderies per say Skyrim with mods would be your best bet.  Watch_Dogs with the graphic improving mod is pretty good too.  Sleeping Dogs - Definitive Edition is supposed to have vastly improved graphics from the original though I haven't played the Definitive Edition yet so I can't say how much better they are though the original's graphics weren't too bad.
