To get to geffen first you need to know where you are. There should be signs in town that say were you are if you read them or if you ask players. Usually asking players helps give you an answer. To get to geffen from prontera (the main city) you go:
West
North West (top entrance on this map that goes west)
North (second entrance on this map that goes north)
West
West again
You should be in Geffen now. To get to the mages guild, go to the north west building on this map. It should be shaped kinda wierd. Also if all else fails ask people in-game. Don't forget to bring milk.
