General: Marvel & Kabam Confirm Second Action RPG for 2015

Kabam and Marvel have announced that the two companies are working in cooperation to create a second mobile RPG based on the Marvel superhero IP. The first game, Marvel: Contest of Champions, is set to be released later this month with the as-yet-unnamed game targeting a Fall 2015 release across multiple platforms.

This second collaboration will be a mobile role-playing game developed by Kabam’s San Francisco studio.  As with Marvel Contest of Champions, it will bring some of Marvel’s most beloved characters to life with an anticipated release on mobile devices in the fall of 2015. The second Marvel game will be created by the same team responsible for Kabam’s hit games Castle Age and Underworld Empire.

    Well that was... Nice... I guess.

     

    To bad it told be jack-squat about how the game plays... if it is even a game or just a RNG generator with pretty graphics.

     

    Also i foresee a metric ton of "micro"transactions

    Contest Of Champions is a fighting game a'la Mortal Kombat/Marvel vs. Capcom but Marvel characters on both sides, Marvel's answer to DC's Injustice: Gods Among Us :-)

    I suspect like Injustice: Gods Among Us it'll be a swiping game controls thing :-/

    This isn't an ARPG. An ARPG would be Marvel Heroes by Gazillion,  Diablo 1 and 2 by David Brevik and his old team, Diablo 3 by Blizzard or Path Of Exile by Grinding Gear Games.

    Contest of Champions is a fighting genre game. Just a tip but you might want to fix the post to reflect what the game is.
