It says the 1.6 patch will be available early Januar on the PTS server...
however, it will have both the Champion system as the Justice system.
seems to be a good trigger for people to return to the game

I was thinking they had to come up with something for the Christmas and New Years Day sales also. They know most people will want to sub and resub right away thinking everything with the new patch will be flawless instead of waiting to see and then sub/resub.
A free weekend to get back players and show-off the new content would be great, as long as they don't do that debit your account in advance for the first month thingy. News about how the console version is coming along would be great also, other then expect to get more news about it in 2015, like what dates are they shooting for?

The biggest news in the December update - imo - is that they say 2015 will see TESO debut on PS4 and XB1.
I think this is the first news about the console launch since ... last May?
*It’s also important to note that the Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions of ESO are not just ports of the PC/Mac game. We have completely replaced the PC user interface with a console-specific UI designed from the ground-up with a controller and a living room play experience in mind. We’ve also added voice chat and full integration with XBL and PSN. Expect to see lots of news about our console versions in early 2015.*
noob question..does the new UI for consoles means also that they can do anything they want with PC version UI like adding more skill slots etc? also can they add the Voice Chat to the PC platform?
I'm not quite sure what you mean? Did I mispell something or? lol
I was just about to link the samething... Slightly disappointed... It will be the PvE foundation of the justice system with the PvP later to come...
I won't return this game until ps4 release. When they finish their beta testing on pc and release the ps4 version, I'll play it again.
The reasoning was sound. Basically, they want to make sure that the PvE part actually works before adding in the PvP part. If the guards are ineffective or godly then the entire system will tank.
With time everything will become as it should have been....

Now playing GW2, AOW 3, ESO, LOTR, Elite D
I wonder if you will be able to play on both ps4 and pc if you have a sub (obviously not at the same time).
Playing on either a console or a pc would simply require the appropriate control on the account software which would be possible the way they talked about people being able to "transfer" from PC to console suggests not. I can't see there being any commercial reasons either - as far as we know people will have to pay the sub to TESO and pay for their PSN or XBLive.
(Note to mmorpg.com: remember that you have to mark TESO's value score down as you did for Destiny .....)
Will console players be segregated from PC players? Possibly even one per console (which is a technical, back end issue of course).
