Well sony got me...hidden stipulations on subscribing to them..BS i tell you.

 I played the trial and liked it. After i completed it, it said i could subscribe and get the starter kit for free. I just read about the instant travel vehicle and thought..Ill check it out so i subscribed. Never recieved my instant travel vehicle. So i did there live chat  assistance thing, and what do you know, you only get it if you purchase the retail version so evidently, you dont get the free starter kit..utter BS...... Here is the conversation. My comments didnt record for some reason. You get the gist of what i said, everything i said was polite to. They have no regard for doing the right thing. Customer service should be #1 priority.

TSR Manuel D.: The travel vehicle is only for the store bought version of the starter kit and does not apply for the digital download.YSo i didnt get the starter kit for free then
 i wouldve bought the store version if id known this, it never said so anywhere
TSR Manuel D.: The starter kit is basically the original game and JTL. It is to save you money from buying the store bought version. You just pay for the subscription when updating on the trial version.
You: So theres no way i will get the instant travel vehicle your telling me
TSR Manuel D.: Unfortunately that is correct.

    I got that instant travel vehicle, dunno y i wasted $19 for it :(
    It's like the most useless thing ever.

    Can't use it on Kash or Mustafar

    It seems to be bugged and sends u to the wrong place sumtimes.

    You cant use it in towns.

    You cant use it to travel to different planets

    Maybe that's why it's free. Nobody would actually pay money for an item you can only use in limited places at best.

    Oh, get used to this if you plan on sticking around.  I haven't seen too many companies so openly piss directly on their customers as SOE.

    Here's a list of future responses you'll recieve to the MANY complaints/frustrations you'll have before cancelling.

    "I'd like to help you, but I'm not going to."

    "Working as intended"

    "This is a known bug"

    "Please file a ticket under the appropriate catageory" (which there won't be, then go to the first quote)

    "I'm sorry our logs show no evidence" (then goto first quote)

    "Please log off and do a full scan"

    "Please contact tech support" (Who if there will give one of the previous quotes)

    "Have you checked your video card drivers?"

    "Please call SOE customer support on this number" (prepare for one of the above quotes)

    "We've already spoken about this issue, go away"

    "Have a nice day!" = "**** off and die you scumbag!"

    Heh, CSR's are not the sharpest knives on the rack image.  A friend brought the Starter Kit from the shop to activate on his existing account but was not rewarded with the Ship.  I got him to do /claim and he recieved it :)  It may be different with the download, but it's worth a try at lease :)

    Can also try /ca.  This calls the ship down if you are entitled to it.
