The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: The Chance to Play Someone Besides Geralt

During last night's Video Game Awards, the CDProjekt Red team was on hand with a brand new trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the news that players will be able to occasionally journey through the game as someone other than Geralt. What that means remains to be seen, though some speculate it will be a female character.

There's some distrubance in the... err... magic
The title is correct, the later description ("will be able to journey through the game as someone other than Geralt") is not so much, since it's not through the game.
They only said that during the game you'll have the option to play with an another character for a short while. Witcher 3 will still be about Geralt, but since this will be his last game, it could be a nice way to introduce a new protagonist into the narrative.
And for the question, my bet is on Ciri, but we'll see in February

I don't often pre-order, but I picked this one up as soon as it as available, too much epicness.

Imagine the withcer 3 with party companions like dragon age 3.
But with a max companion set to 3
That would be truly masterpiece
What's Dragon Age 3? Oh it's that game where the first game in the trilogy is still better than its successors. The Witcher 3 will certainly over-shadow Dragon Age easily. How? Better combat, graphics, better story, mature atmosphere where it can be funny when it should be. Subjective? yes. Can't wait to visit all of the landmarks/ cities, places.

I don't think I'd like the Witcher with a whole party to control in the combat system. It just doesn't seem to be designed for that but a section where you played as Triss would be awesome.
Why choose when could be designed both with a difficulity mode, so called party mode.
Many diffrent players some like companions others not.
I am sure if it was there with more epic story to the companions as in Dragon Age inquisition you would play it once too for the feeling alone you missed out some epicness to explorer.
