Noob loving the game

in Dark Age of Camelot

I just started playing the game yesterday, and I have to say that I love it.   I have to MAKE myself turn the game off because the game is so fun.  I really havent pin-pointed what it is about the game that I like so much.  The graphics aren't the best, there seems to be some lag in towns, but maybe its just the outstanding gameplay and level/skill mechanics that make me want to play hours on end.

    You're welcome! (I think). You were the one 'on the fence' as to whether or not to buy the Epic box, right?

    Just to satisfy my curiousity...what server style to you start on?

    Have a blast! It's still JUST as fun after a month of playing too (my personal experience).

    The capitals are a bit laggy for those with low/medium computers. The rest of the game should be fine for you. Have fun in the game.

    I'm on the Bors server.  I would have taken you up on going to a RP server, but I dont know if that is my thing.  I just wanted to start on a normal server first.

    I too am fairly new to DAOC. I like it. Movement however seems a lot slower than other games I have played and I too get the lag in towns but for the most part, I am having fun playing it. Kind of hard to make coin at first is my only real complaint

    Im also new to this game.. And I must say im really suprised how great this game is :) Have to be 1 of the best MMORPG out there! awesome.., im so looking forward to continue...

    I am havin a blast playin as well, I chose a classic server and find the combat superb. It cost me less then having 5 SWG accounts and for an old game its a blast to play, rvr or pvp I think is the best here and even the Pve is fun.

    No one on the RP server actually role-plays that I've seen. In fact, the retarded names people come up with are still very prevalent. I don't see anything role-playish about it at all actually. I started playing on one and it was just like every other server so I ditched it for something more populated.

    Nope, unfortuneatly I picked Midgard.  Maybe I'll be seeing you in battle.
