Wargaming has announced that fans around the world will have an opportunity to participate in a special sneak peek weekend for the highly anticipated World of Warships. Called 'Rock-Paper-Scissors', players will have a chance to check out three ship classes: Cruiser, Destroyer, and Battleship. The weekend is designed to give players a firsthand look at the RPS approach to naval combat. The event will take place from December 12th to 14th. Keep your eye on MMORPG.com for your chance at a key!
“This weekend with World of Warships, we are starting with a new model of testing and are looking forward to seeing the results of this new approach,” stated Daniil Volkov, World of Warships Development Director. “The game is still in the early stages of development. Opening it to a larger audience will allow us to get a lot of relevant feedback that will be instrumental in defining player expectations and outlining what we are to focus on in the coming months.”

Really??? It's been 3 loooooooong years of development, and it's still the EARLY STAGES???? WTF
The event code I got here does not work on EU invitation site. I get an "Invalid Code" error.
Where do you get a beta key?
That is not true it is close alpha test atm and it will mostlike be in beta sometime 2015 and maybe go live next year.
Lol, I suppose "early stages of development" needs to be redefined in the modern age.
Alpha used to be the early stages of development, but nowadays that's when players can start paying to play games that will eventually be F2P. Beta is commonly when games open their Cash Shops and effectively launch.
The stage of development also seems to have very little bearing on when players are allowed access to games currently.
