Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.
this kind of crap is one of the things that makes people pirate games. I still have my original copy of FFVII for the Playstation 1 that i can play on a PC emulator. Square Enix see their consumers as idiotic zombies. I know for a fact they aren't getting my money for this crap.
Remake the game or dont bring it back at all, i dont want the crappy steam port again.
EDIT: i didnt like FFX so i really dont care about that remaster, much less at that price.
OT: Tidus is the most realistic adaptation of experiencing time travel for the first time in a video game; if you didn't realize that then you failed to endulge in the fantasy... I'd like to see you get transfered to the future by satan( sin, same antagonistic behavior) and not act the way Tidus did; let alone to later find out that that's your father. I cant understand how people end up saying stupid sh!t like that unless they aren't a true of the series. If you wanna complain about anyone complain about seymour; for the love of god i'll even take complaints about decyphering the al bhed language more serious than this statement.
Now for the topic at hand, that price tho.....
Love can kill you, it can also save your life....

Game devs have lost it, masterpiece or not.
STOOPID
When someone does something so utterly moronic that it kills your brain cells at the very thought of it.
Firstly, i am a fan of Final Fantasy series in general, have been for a long time, and i think as a company, SE are great. But.. this just shouts out cash over principles to me, i mean, FF VII, great game of its time, and lots of calls for the game to have a 'makeover' lot of people would buy that, but, its just the PC version ported over to the PS4, pretty much looking like the exact same game that was on the PS1.
Then there is the whole FF X being brought to the PS4, thing is, i have a problem with this, if they want to create some good will with their customers, and, i totally accept that its not SE's fault that Sony didn't make their console backwards compatible with previous versions software, but, if they were going to make a new version of these games, with updated graphics etc digitally remastered with maybe a few extra goodies thrown in too, i could agree with them selling the games if not at AAA new game prices perhaps, but something more 'equitable', but if its essentially the same game as the previous version, then, i think their moral standpoint is a bit shaky, porting the PC version of FF VII would have been very cheap to do and i can't imagine it would have taken them very long to do it either, FF X, perhaps more work done, but, i don't think that would have taken all that much time and effort to do either. Do the right thing SE, don't let your fans down with this kind of thing, we expect better of you
For me XIV is incredible though. It really made me fanboy out and play the classics. I'm sure XV and KH3 will be monumental.
But why in the hell don't they have a dedicated team remastering classics? A true remaster of VII is going to sell more than anything else they could possibly create, We all know it.
Monster Hunter since '04!

As it happens, most all the FF games that SE could be bothered to release on PC (the exception being the somewhat rushed port of XIII-2 that came out yesterday) are on sale at half price or less for NA customers through their online store.
On topic, I tend to go along with the idea that the reason VII is not getting a remake is because SE regard the prospect as commercial suicide: it would take years, cost a fortune and no matter how good a job they did, it could not possibly live up to the remake the fanbase have in their heads.
More cynically, the reason we've not seen a "HD remaster" of VII is probably that the original art / animation assets from which the pre-rendered backgrounds, textures and FMVs were made are now mostly lost -- let's face it, if they still existed it would have been a little more work than simply porting the PC port to the PS4 and they could prolly get away with doubling the asking price.
Brrrflp!
LOL, are you listening to yourself? They ain't going to get your money for anything from the sounds of it.
I welcome the idea of sitting my nephew down some day and having him play FFVII on the big screen without a hassle.

...Except he didn't time travel and most of his winging is about daddy issues?
TSW - AoC - Aion - WOW - EVE - Fallen Earth - Co - Rift - || XNA C# Java Development
actually he did time travel. He got shot forward a thousand years to the future, hence while on the ship with Rikku he keeps saying, "that happened 1000 years ago?" and he wont believe it. He doesnt realize he got shot forward a milenium until later in the game when he keeps having his talks with Auron. tell me how this is not time travel you ignorant bafoon?
Wow. Someone didn't beat the game and is talking about things they don't know :P
For me Tidus is a hero,..cant belive you dont like him dude?!?!
mmorpg junkie since 1999
I'm in the same boat as Mtibbs1989. It's his voice that I can't stand.
Tend to agree, his whinging is annoying and he does come across as a bit self centered, sometimes you just want to smack him upside the head and tell him to grow up.
