how is the game everyone has it gotten better like how cu was after awhile? i want to hear this from the people who still play not the people who complain who still love this game and wish it was pre cu
I still play the game and I loathe it. I'm stuck with an active sub until April so I am trying to make the best of it I will do HK and Sher Kar, throw the loot on my vendors, wait til lockouts end, and that's about it. PvP is atrocious, everything in PvE can be soloed. It's all about instant gratification now, and that = short-term game. If something major doesn't change from this horrible "enhancement", I won't be renewing.
And to directly address your question, no it is not better than the CU. As unhappy as I was about the CU when it was first launched, I'd take the CU anyday over this slop.
I recently restarted my account to check it out. It was just eating at me as to what it was like. I had so many great game memories with my guild that I just had to return for a bit.
I made Jedi shortly before the NGE hit and I have stuck with it. As a level 63 jedi I have a hard using my sabre to kill mokks my level on Dant. As soon as I pick up a rifle I can take on 2 mokks 6-7 levels above me. Its fast and boring. No matter what they say its simply not a mmofps. I dont know you call it. Its weird.
Crafting is totally pointless since there is zero item decay. Crafted clothing cant compete with what drops so no point in that profession at all. No maintenance to pay and no penalty for death. No reason to avoid death. Except it takes you farther away from what you were just fighting. Soo many things are broken its really not funny. And most of all there are very very few players. Main people left are hardcore fans, people with subs that wont run out for a bit or roleplayers.
Its not a good game. I do wonder if it had launched in such a state if we would have continued to play but I doubt it. Its boring and everyone is cookie cuttered to be the same.
Sadly but the game launched in a similar state but with less features and eye-candy wasn't the most successful, but people played because it was star wars, also the crafting and profession system made it pretty unique.

Even active accounts are loathing the game. Nice try to elicit some positive feedback.
