when did israel get involved in the danish cartoon mess.....

why holocaust cartoons..... danish people arent a even minority of jewish i thought.

why does iran want to piss off israel so bad. When israel always "has its finger on the attack button"

i just wanted to post this quick i wont be free to respond for about 8 hours.....

    isreal is being dragged into this mess. most mid-eastern countries, privately if not publicly, refuse to accept isreal as a "real" country. however, iran seems to be itching to pick a fight with someone at the moment so its no suprise that they would pick the common target of that region. the contest iran is holding, imo, is ignorant and has nothing to do with the basis of the original cartoons. if they truely wished to test the western world's patience with the freedom of speech thing, they would make the contest about christ. seem as how the originals were about muhammad.

    Its long been my opinion that 95% of our current woes originate from these actions. But you cant unscramble eggs.... so who knows what will become of the region.....

    Isreal printed the cartoons too. That is why they are directly involved I guess. And like Razorback says, the ongoing conflict in Isreal.

    which if you go a little further back in history, palestine took that land from someone else (egypt if i remember right). how ever i do agree that our siding with isreal on alot of issues has caused our disfavor among most arab countries.

    We could continue to go back in the history and United States would still be ruled by the native Americans,The Skandinavian Vikings would still rule England and so on.
    The borders are moving constantly.

    As for Irans biggest newspaper launching a contest to get the most funny Holocaust cartoons from their readers it's just a lame provocation.
    They know it will offend the Jews but as a smart Jew said today.

    Not long ago Irans new president said Israel should be wiped from the surface of this earth.

    I'm not taking side from either Palestine,israel,iran or any other country but if Iran don't shup up soon it's them who most likely will feel the wrath from US and Israel.
    Let's just hope Iran does not have the Nuclear weapons finished by then.

    That is a scenario a billion times worse than some lame cartoons printed in a danish newspaper.

    Yes its "glib" of me to sugest it started in 1945. That was just the latest chapter in a 2500 year old argument that no one can possibly resolve now. Shame we cant hook the middle east to a big cable and tie it to a rocket and shoot it out into space where they can all get on with killing each other away from normal people.image

    Use common sense and actually read the articles.

    They are using the holocaust in cartoons since Europeans are sensitive about the issue. The cartoons are hardly directed torwards Israel.

    Also, Israel "doesn't always have its finger on the attack button". It is a defensive nation that is constantly attacked by other nations who "always have their finger on the attack button".
