Been playing on AD a bunch but just made the move to EP.
Not much of an RPer myself but holy crap the RP in ESO is lively as a ll hell!
I came across some videos that are just awesome and this site: teso-rp.com seems to be a nice primer I guess.
IDK might join one of these guilds and hang back and watch a bit.
Look at all this awesomeness:

there is chat bubble tho. you can see them in the video.
You have a very limited imagination if no chat bubbles ruins RP for you.
That said, as far as TESO RP goes I can actually see some potential there but the gameplay is a very pale reflection of Skyrim thus it's not worthy of my time or yours.
No, I have issues RPing in large groups with nothing but a chat box to look at.
I get headaches trying to follow what's going on by just looking at a chat box, how does that effect my imagination?
And ooh so it does, apparently they implemented chat bubbles, nice. May buy it from a key website now to try.

Nope, my life just doesn't revolve around reading patch notes for games I don't play, sadly.
But it does revolve around posting on message boards of games that you dont play?
So according to your logic someone shouldn't post in a game forum unless they have read all the patch notes and memorized all the game features. Remember that next time you post in a games dedicated forums.
Don't mind Sarariel.... they're just mad you made them look like an idiot on a public forum.
I would say this is a good thing and I am ESO subscriber
Don't let the overly zealous fanbois get you down. Its a good game try it if you can
Then god knows I'm so guilty as I post in several forums where I haven't read all the patch notes or even played the game in years. WoW and Eve come to mind. My already low post count is gonna drop so low now that the rule is we can only post in games we are activily playing or have read every single note for. So much for learning new information on games from reading threads here. (Well I guess I can read just not post least the thread police jump all over me for my admitted lack of knowledge on games I don't play but have enough interest in to read about. (Once again for the record I do play ESO and have been a subscriber since day one and no I still don't read every patch note on the game consider me casual in that respect.)
Apologies for my post guys, I should have read up on it before posting.
I just bought the game from a site for around £7 just now, gonna give it a go!
Seems like the perfect world/universe to RP in. Hopefully the RP is active EU side.
Don't need to apologise if its a genuine request for info, cynics tend to assume the worst these days
Tips to help get into the game:
- Do the tutorial areas, some good quest lines there, no sense missing out.
- join mage and warrior guilds early - offers extra skills trees and questlines.
- Get into crafting and gathering - really good fun and adds to adventures.
- Explore map - if there's an area you have not looked at, go explore - dont worry about rushing to next zone, there is no rush.
- There's lots of nice add ons, my favourite is the one that shows you what you just looted.

Not sure about EU but the best way to find out is to go on teso-ep.com and look up EU guilds.
Who the fuck are you to tell someone what their time is worth? If they like the game it's worth their time. Don't try and push your opinions on other people.
